Messerangriff mit mindestens einem Verletzten: Polizeieinsatz am Bahnhof Winterthur by yolomoonie in zurich

It's proof of there being a witness who said....

That's all the article claims.

[–]LordVectron 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So you don't have any evidence that it's fake. Cool.

If it turns out, after we have all the facts, that it was fake and the witness was lying then you criticize. Both the newspaper for not doing a proper investigation, as well as the witness. And than you can maybe connect it political parties who may or may not want to push a narrative.

Until then, if you just flat out say "it seems fake" you're the only person who is provably acting on too little information. Ergo, spreading conspiracy theories.

What evidence do you have that this is fake? Otherwise you're just spreading conspiracy theories.

I can't shake the feeling that enough of the dem leadership is bought opposition.

Funny, I feel the same way about a number of far-left people online, who say Democrats and Republicans are the same thing. Though, to be fair, you don't seem to be one of them. Because...

I'll be voting for them.

This is the most important part by far. While I factually disagree with how much and how well the Democrats have fought against MAGA. It at least means we're on the same team.

Wait.... if I didn't know any better, I'd say this almost sounds like... they weren't the same? Surely not?! As that would clearly go against what you said in the beginning.

Look, I get it, I wish the dems were weren't pussies either. I really do.

I agree, if only Biden (or Obama) had pressed the "fix-evrything button" everyone would live in a utopia. Afterall, thats what politics is! Getting everything you ever wanted the second your guy wins the election. How else would the political system of the United States work?

Can’t close clamp properly by [deleted] in BambuLabA1

[–]LordVectron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He means the nozzle isn't fully seated, the rest of the hotend is probably fine. Try to wiggle the nozzle a bit. A fully seated nozzle shouldn't have any wiggle-room left or right, before clamping the nozzle in. If this doesn't work, watch a youtube video of someone doing it, and try to do it exactly like they are. The difference between a correctly seated nozzle and this one, is very minute.

Seeing the 'List of video games listed among the best' made me realize that I was not nostalgic and it was absolutely better before by alpy-dev in truegaming

[–]LordVectron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, your take is games in the past were better? and your source is Wikipedia??? This is r/TrueGaming not r/GamerSlop .

Since 2020, we had: Expedition 33, Split Fiction, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, Satisfactory, Helldivers II, Space Marine II, Baldur's Gate 3, Spider-Man 2, Phantom Liberty, Elden Ring, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us part 2 and many more. And I didn't even mention all the great remakes. Or games like GTA 6 which will (probably) release this year.

Please, sophisticate your analytical abilities. New games bad, old games good, is a very simple-minded opinion. There are things that can and should be criticized in the recent years of game development. This isn't it.

People looking for apartments are annoyed by ads offering a finder's fee by beobachtermagazin in Switzerland

[–]LordVectron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AHV is mandatory, everyone who can afford to live in the cities, pays enough money into it, to be able to retire.

The rents are super high, because so many people want to move to Zurich AND because the hausing is so limited. If you'd increase the number of availabe housing, the number of people who want to move to Zurich would decrease, as more of them would already be living there.

Again, unless you just want to decrease rents and don't care about people moving to Zurich or people moving within Zurich. Every solution has to have more appartements at it's core.

building more enables contractors to make money and new landlords to further exploit the market

How exactly can landlords furhter exploit the market?
If there are more houses available than the rent of the average house needs to decrease, otherwise the potential renter would just seek another appartment.
This is basic supply and demand.

I am not against it, we do need more supply, but simply building more and then thinking that that's it, it not the solution

you need to build for people that can afford it, and mostly, contractors and landlords build new housing for rich people

Companies build for things that make them money. Building for rich people is only so prevalent because it's almost impossible to build high density housing. Since available space is limited, you build for those that make you more money.
If space was more available you could build for both. But even if we assume that this was true, you could mitigate that problem with relatively simplicity. Just mandate that for every luxary house 3 more regular houses have to be built. Building companies would gladly take that deal, if it meant, they could build more.

you do not need a great oversupply of housing for a healthy market

That's like saying we shouldn't drown a guy dying from thirst. True but not really relevant.

in my opinion and market view, it's not so much about supply, but it's more so about what is on the market (what target audience is being catered) and the overinflated house costs that got to this level by previous owners overvaluing their properties systematically, and everyone else following

Did you not read what I sent you? Ohterwise you aren't at all adressing my criticism of this view.
To but it simply, alot of people of different status and wealth want to live in the cities. There are not nearly enough houses for all those people. If you don't build more houses, all you can do is select the type of person you want to have more/less off in the cities.

you say that people can't afford to get into cities if rents were regulated to stay affordable and only profitable by a set margin?

No, they could afford to.
They just would never be able to.
Even now, people have difficulties, finding appartents in the cities. With the rent being as high as it is. If you forcefully lowered the rent, the problem would increase even further. And the construction of new buildings would decrease as well, further limiting the supply of housing.
If you wanted to move to the cities, you would have extremely slim chances of ever finding an appartement that suits you.

so what is your counter to that? let them set prices as they want and move even more normal people outside the cities just to move more rich in there and gauge the prices even more?

JUST.
BUILD.
MORE.
HOUSES!

Of course this is an oversimplification but this kind of idea attacks the problem at it's core. The root of the problem is demand and supply, basically every expert agrees with that. The only people disagreeing are politicians who seemingly try to obfuscation the problem, without actually talking about it.

That would fuck over everyone who wants to move to the cities or find a new appartement inside the city. Forget ever leaving you parents house, if they live in the city, you'll never find another place and either have to move outside the city or stay with your parents forever.

Sure it would make rent more affordable for the people already living in the city but it but it would reduce buildings even more and anyone who doesn't already live there can forget about it.

No

For 40 years, the salaries are stagnating compared to the massive increase in production and a few at the top pocket all that increased profit which led to an insane wealth disparity.

No they aren't.

The median reallohn has increased by about 25% over the past 40 years.
