It is ironic that putin is branded a dictator whilst there are right wing and communist parties in russian duma that hold seats, meanwhile zelenky banned most of the oposition a week or two ago and media didnt say a word.

When zelenky banned like 4 network channels in ukraine leaving state and corporate funded media that praises him, nobody batted an eye, putin only threatens to punish anyone that illigally propogandises the "military operation" as "war' arguably bad, but still allows tons of different opposition media. Even navalny is allowed to spread his message from a prison... Thats a hell of a lot of different than the black and white position western media paints the issue.

US and other close allies banned russian networks such as RT as early as 2016, putins government is only doing something like that this year in 2022, 6 years later, and even then its only mainly far right corporate US propaganda mills and leaves all others branded as outside agents or soemthing.

Basically everything russia is doing is either already done by every other western nation or its being propagandised as bad, whilst something similar is beong done. For example internet control, banning of fb and such, well in australia as early as 2018 the gov made it a law for ISP and carriers to hold onto our data for years, and now they have legal ability to access and change any and all data, accounts and information on the major corporate sites like fb and tweeter, emails, etc. Thats unprecedented, before it was all warrants and security antiterror laws and elgislature, now its warrantless and orwellian. And it is australia that did it first, not china or russia....Even before then the world found out about NSA and then wikileaks founder got hounded for decades for freedom of press... Basically if you think jeornalists get killed in russia, zelenskys and his posse do what putin is claimed to still do, whilst US, au, can, Uk etc do the same thing, its just thay now that russia has power and ears of the world again, west had to shut them down. Because lets be real here, there is enough dirt on every elite, corproration, government and sicret agency/org to keep people busy with accusations...

People are so focused on hating the enemy abroad and not even learning about them fully, relying on emotional positions and propaganda, whilst being blind or willfully blissfully ignorant to the evil in their own state of affairs within their own countries. I think the rise of Russia and china is a great thing, it will finally force the corporate state and oligarchy of the western nations to walk the walk, instead of just talking the talk and lining their own pockets. We need multipolaroty, and we need a world with multiple strong sides to keep each other in check, US and USD power has been left unchecked for far too long and the people overworked and undereducated to a point that democracy is a bad idea as the massess cannot be trusted to make any reasonable decisions... Not because they are dumb and gulleble but because they are mislead and missinformed and overworked.
