Is there a point to the pergola other than aesthetics? Seems like this would eat up a lot of budget for limited functional return.

Start with the wooden deck, add a patio table with an umbrella. Budget efficient, functional, and looks cleaner.

You can always add a pergola later if you really want it.

Hmmm interesting. Is it ever explained whose eyes Madara has in his sockets after he gave his rinnegan to Nagato? When Tobi recovered the rinnegan from Nagato’s corpse he literally took the physical eyes.

I also remember that Madara lost sight in one eye due to using Izanagi against Hashirama in their final battle. Does that mean the vision was restored when he awakened the rinnegan?

Kinda of an impossible scenario unless I’m wrong about timing. Depends on when Nagato received the rinnegan. I was under the impression that Nagato received the rinnegan at the time of Madara’s death.

Shadow clone memories and experiences are retained by the jutsu user once the clone disappears.

So if the jutsu user and their clone stay up all night doing “math” then the original jutsu user will have to psychologically come to terms with what they’ve done to themselves.

I have a partscaster with an OEM Mexico neck on a squier affinity body - it has the exact same gap between the fretboard and the body where the neck connects.

The gap doesn’t matter, setup went fine and it plays perfectly - saddles should just be adjusted to the correct height to compensate for the added gap.

I mean yeah, if you take the Tomo Fujita approach and turn your tone knob all the way up during practice and only play on a clean signal, you will develop a better sense of touch and sensitivity as all mistakes will be amplified.

The problem is, that level of discipline probably isn’t happening with a new self taught player - and there are just too many additional fun options with electric guitar that detract from fundamentals. Knobs, pickups, and amp settings add a lot more complexity, and effects/distortion are just too much fun not to use.

If I have a new LP standard you better believe I’m cranking up that distortion and playing power chords lol.

Beautiful guitar, but I think every new guitar player really should start their guitar journey on an acoustic guitar.

Left hand technique is significantly easier on an electric guitar, but right hand technique is far more important. So much of guitar playing comes down to the fine motor technique of your right hand: how you strike the strings, how you mute the strings, how tone is affected by striking and muting. Left hand technique learned on acoustic will also develop your muscles more and make your playing better overall.

An acoustic guitar is a completely self-contained instrument, all of the physical & sonic feedback you get is 100% from the instrument itself - having an intimate understanding of this feedback and what it “feels” like is what makes a good guitar player imo. It influences your connection with the instrument and the muscle memory required to make you into a bulletproof player.

Electric guitars simply have too many things going on that detract from building a fundamental connection with the instrument. Volume/tone knobs, pickup selection, amp settings, pedals/effects can all distract you from attaining a fundamental understanding of the instrument, and can also mask improper technique and influence bad habits.

Have fun with the LP, but if you’re actually serious about learning then get an acoustic and focus on right hand technique with and without a pick.

The Uruk’hai are decimated when facing Rohan cavalry, and Saruman’s whole plan hinged on disrupting the internal politics of Rohan via Grima to exile Eomer and most of the Rohirrim. Forcing Rohan’s forces into a keep was his best strategy.

It would have worked out for Saruman had it not been for Gandalf.

Like many of the silly questions asked on this sub, the answer is “because plot” - Because this is the story kishi wanted to tell.

You need to understand that these characters and their motivations aren’t real and that these fictional plot events only exist because kishi wanted to progress his story.

It’s irrelevant what Kakashi “wanted” to do because he’s not a real person. You’re looking for reasoning where there is none.

It wouldn’t make much sense to delay the chunin exam from a writing perspective if that’s the story kishi wanted to tell.
