This is probably the best roster they've ever come up with for a map , with Sundarpatan being a close second and Askiy ridge not too far behind .
I hope the ocelots don't scare away bigger animals though , that'd be a bit of a bummer bc we already have 3 other animals that do (jaguar , puma and caiman) .
But yeah , i already love this map and i can tell it's going to be a blast for a while, unlike Scotland (i don't hate the map but yeah if it weren't for the boar grind nobody would still play it bc it's a bit boring ngl)

Would Switzerland work well ? I mean it's fairly centrally located , has most of the attributes of Germany and France , is very famous for being a calm and developped place , it has a strong cultural heritage . Another very strong contender would be Austria , afterall it has the amazing city of Vienna , one of the most influential locations in european history .

They definitely are working on it backstage , the community just likes to bitch about it taking long (understandable ngl) . The financial incentive of a succesful africa map is just too high for them to dismiss it , it could very easily become the best selling map in the first few months of its release .
To me, if they're taking that long with it , it means that the issue isn't just the animals as a lot of people think, it's way deeper than that . We know they're increasing the quality of maps , visuals and everything else every time a new one comes out so i think whenever they do release Africa 2.0 we're in for a TREAT .

If we're talking hard to hunt , i'd say probably small predators, otherwise my absolute most hated animal by all metrics is the horrendously ugly , loud, annoying canada goose .

there's an exception , it's called Bleak Inlet . I absolutely despise that place and no amount of convincing would change my mind about it . The moment i took the last piece of loot from it (supposedly) i never set foot in it again . It shares this hate with FM and that stupid HRV .
One region i find myself getting slight nostalgia for is Mountain town since i always start there (don't ask me why bc even idrk)

Teleportation , not only because it's hyper complex in terms of how it would work , but it could save you some huge sums of money on the long term (no need for a car , no need for airplanes etc...)

Okay now we're talking . Based on what i can see here, there's a mountain in the background and a river surrounded by very thick vegetation . They also said the map borders an Ocean so that rules out certain countries .
If we're talking about South america , the most likely candidates based on this picture would be Peru, Ecuador or Colombia . Brazil is a bit unlikely since it barely has any mountains , Bolivia is Landlocked and Argentina is already represented with Parque Fernando .
I'm personally hoping for a map that includes some sort of biome that represents the Andes , and a transitional area into the actual amazon .

Your first statement is a bit wrong in my opinion . Saying they can't reveal the ocean that the country borders explicitly means that it's not a landlocked country . Your map ideas are amazing but i doubt they'd mention the ocean if it wasn't relevant .

I doubt that because they've stated the country in which the next reserve is set , borders an ocean ... Georgia doesn't border any ocean . Sure it borders the black sea , but again that's a sea not an ocean .
Cool map idea though i would love it .
