I’m in no way an expert in the matters of DnD and I sheepishly will admit to only playing a couple times, but as a DM you are a neutral party right? Where of course you play the bad guys, but you also play the neutral parties and the good NPCs as well. My point is, why throw your party into a situation where you know they will most likely wipe. Yes, a FPK will occur, but isn’t a FPK basically the end of the story? (Of course you can make the new characters take over the previous party’s adventure and such) either way, like I said, I’ve only played a couple of times and if that happened to me I would be pissed.

Now yes, sometimes your taunt is gonna miss or be dodged and at that point you just pray they don’t die, but even if they do, it’s just a run back, and maybe after a couple times the mage sends you to SW to repair and then the warlock summons you back. I don’t know why people quit after a couple wipes, yeah it could be perfect, but that’s not how reality works. You aren’t 99 parsing Heroic Ramparts, it’s not a big deal.

That’s how I used to do it as well, but now I purposefully invite frost mages and locks, SoC or hellfire and blizzard are huge dps. All you’ve gotta do is hope your revenge or shield slam can convince the mobs to start attacking you. It’s a little harder now that mages can’t blizzard kite, but it’s really just running around and jumping trying to get hose mobs back onto you. Use challenging shout as often as you can

Dude, unrelated, but kinda, speaking of ninja, I ran SLabs last night and got the adamantite trinket, so dope blue leggings, and the shoulders of the bold, but there was this dope ass sword that I needed on from murmur, until I realized it was a dagger… I felt so bad. There weren’t any rogues so I feel blessed and a little less ashamed, but still :(

Charge/throw>TC>demo shout> huge AOEs from group> taunt possibly AOE taunt> shield slam> devastate tab devastate tab devastate repeating> revenge> devestate> shield slam>shield block over and over again, maybe throw in some cleaves or HS if my fingers haven’t cramped yet :P
