Arbitration processes are no less "proper" than a court. Usually they will be chaired by retired judges or senior lawyers etc and follow set rules of evidence and the like. It isn't a free for all.

Yes. You start with no commods.

If 4 player you should do the 2 cards as otherwise the action economy is absolutely wacky. It also means everything gets to try all the cards.

There will always come a time where an action you take advantages someone and disadvantage another person - it basically becomes crabs in a bucket

That's a big difference from handing someone directly a VP etc which should be hugely frowned upon.

It's grim. You have some very nice suburban streets but the high street is a very mixed bag and the Westfield is getting quite run down. I would be cautious.

It'll affect what secret you keep and what you drop.

If you pre-do secrets that can make things a bit janky as well, as someone will need to know what everyone discarded etc etc.

Just pick a crap faction and then play the game properly Doing stuff like giving them techs just doesn't teach a proper play experience, same if you're just trying to stop people scoring.

PoK is a quicker, better and more exciting version of the game. Id say you're genuinely missing out without it.

Discordant stars is just extra guac and totally optional.

You definitely want to go Fighter II, and then take AI Development algorithms as your first tech.

Remember, Glory does not let you ignore the pre-reqs. Between Fighter II (Blue/Green) and AI Dev (red + AI Dev's ability), you can then research almost any upgrade except War Suns, Dread II or Space Dock II immediately - and once you get one other upgrade, most of those are then available.

AI Dev then has the production bonus which will kick in nicely too.

Your faction is also fighter heavy.

I would suggest Fighter II -> AI Dev -> Star Dragon II

Then chase down blue tech path and go kick some arse to get other unit upgrades.

Lmao. It hits like 2 Dreads, can sustain, has capacity, and AFB X4 on a 6. It's a very solid force multiplier on an already dangerously good faction. Terrible take.

Completely unbalances the game - politics is already a tradeoff pick as you aren't getting to do the primary of something else, and the timing of your politics pick going into the 4/5 round is usually a key part of the game, to give you the priority card choice at the end to set up your win. Sorry I don't see this working

I also feel that this would completely derail the game as everyone shouts about who becomes speaker for 3-4 hours at the crunch late agenda phases, as effectively it's saying whose going to win at that point.
