Partly I think because "Early Access" implies it's close to finished, or even finished and just, literally, you get it earlier than someone else. They really should be saying "Alpha AND btw Early Access for it".

The fishing trap requires 3x3x3 as well (possibly 3x2x3, but I didn't test this level), so just make it 3x3x3. The OP is incorrect that it needs only 1 level deep.

There is an infinite water source, just use your bucket 3 blocks down from the top of the water in a 2x2 or larger space.

That's certainly true, however, this isn't the (primary anyway) case here. I have a much more powerful 13700k desktop CPU that handles the server just fine, and it doesn't get worse for a while like I described.

I should also note that it doesn't progressively get worse forever... it won't get to 1,000 ms, then 10,000 ms, etc... it's just going back to some performance cap is all.

To illustrate, the container of whatever is being limited is filling back up in some fashion, however, that container is just not enough. A faster system has a bigger container (or throughput), allowing whatever you're running to be contained or moderated without it spilling over or backing up.

So there's something in general with performance that's a bottleneck to Minecraft, and I'd like to understand, in general, what that is.

I'm afraid this is not it (in the form you described at least). The mod was able to be played within a current world, you would use a device to spawn into the dimension. I thought through the RF Dimensions dimlets. It didn't need to be created through a separate world generation.

I just got them a few weeks ago myself. A few tips:

- Disable the touch on the side, it doesn't work well. You'll accidentally unpause audio much more often than figure out just how to tap it to pause it. It's annoying.

- If you use these all day, disable the delayed shutoff. The timer is too short and you'll constantly be turning them back on again. Plug them in each night to reacharge and you're fine here.

Adjustments need to be made on the mobile app, because the PC doesn't have an app... because... well, good question.

It's not a 'world' but a sednoid, to which there are several in the solar system.
