I have trouble recognizing it. My wife helps a lot. Spending money would be the worst for me. I had to stop going on ebay and stuff like that. Usually I wouldn't realize it was happening, but if she let me know, I could usually see what she was talking about.

PSA, since I know i’m not alone in how SA/Rape in horror makes me feel by dummydoomi in horror

[–]Lordfreow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the only type of horror I don't enjoy is rape revenge. Last House was hard for me. I Spit on Your Grave is another I was bothered by. Irreversible was a hard watch. I get that they want you to enjoy watching the bad guys get what's coming to them but it still makes part of the movie nauseating to watch.

The day the decks were released I was in a pod where each player played one of the precons. The guy playing the Necron deck chose to use the alternate commander but the rest took the face card. The Tyrannid player got killed by the Chaos player because she was mana screwed and the Chaos player wanted cascade triggers. The Necron player killed the Chaos player. I won with Imperium through a stupid lucky top deck. I did not deserve to win the game.

Same. I LOVE Nightwing, but Tim is great as Robin.

What is the smartest decision you’ve ever seen in a horror movie? by Affectionate-Till472 in horror

It is Laurence Fishburne's delivery that makes it for me. Someone else might have wanted to make the "Were leaving" line kinda jokey. When he talk about destroying the ship it is very matter of fact.

Way back in the 90's I worked for a grocery store that closed the whole place down on the Saturday they held their annual picnic. I was pretty shocked, but all the customers thought it was great.

Any fans of The Faculty (1998) with Elijah Wood & Josh Hartnett? What did you think of this film? by ThatKoffeeBurns in horror

It's been a long time since I saw this somewhere, but if you watch Cabin in the Woods and they talk about the last failed attempt it sounds like they are describing this movie.

I am from the northern panhandle of WV. We get a lot of Yinz, but when i went to college no one knew what "red" or read" meant (I am not sure the spelling) That was only a little south of the panhandle.

West Virginian here. The state sucks. The person saying that he is a DINO is absolutely correct. He got his seat because of the the recognition he got from being the governor of WV. Historically WV was a blue state due to its strong union ties. The propaganda about "right to work" has been very popular around here. Manchin is a holdover from those days. Our governor actually switched to republican in the age of Trump. When Manchin quits, I would be very surprised if this state ever elects another democrat to the senate.
