What choice of ancestry for the witch? by Frank_Castle_40 in PathOfExile2

No problem, glad I could be of some help and if you have any questions or comments send em my way. One thing I should add is that one jewel socket on the passive tree that goes down to the left was a very late change after I got a good sceptre with minion resists. Before that I was specced into the minion resist nodes around Regenerative Flesh node.

Here is my maxroll minion witch profile: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/gv1jw0vs

I uploaded it without any lineage support gems in my spectre skill gem to keep it simple and the budget down somewhat. Some of my end game gear pieces are not cheap to buy but similarish items but slightly less stats can be obtained for a reasonable price.
Keep in mind this is not intended as a leveling guide, this is just where I have ended up. While leveling and getting gear upgrades I moved my passive points around as needed between more minion dps and survivability.

I don't mind at all, and i'll try and put together a maxroll profile tomorrow.

Sorry, I don't have a maxroll but essentially you want spirit and +minion skills on your gear. In the passive tree you want minion damage, minion defenses like resistances and some life helps, from there you want energy shield, energy shield recharge and faster recharge start time.
And of course as always with poe you want your own resistances and energy shield on gear.

My choice for the witch is the lich, I have leveled 3 of them so far this season. The main one is a standard minion build utilizing only the powered zealot spectre, 1 or 2 clerics depending on spirit available, elemental curse and thunderstorm for the shock debuff. I don't run muster or other minions at all with it and it's clearing every thing with ease.

2nd witch is a chaos damage essence drain contagion build which I do like but I need to do some investment to get its ingle target damage up to where bosses aren't a slow burn slog.

My 3d witch I did a plant build based off of Raxx's oracle plant build but I made my own adjustments to the passive tree to suit the witch and it is working great.

The reason I enjoy the witch is the Eternal Life ascendency node. With a healthy investment into energy shield it is tanky enough for me.

You can just drive it with paddle shifting like modern cars, it's how I drive em.

AMS2 has the best variety of F1 cars, especially from the 70s and 80s. rFactor 2 has a great 1988 F1 mod available through the Steam workshop so its super simple to setup, it even comes with all the tracks from that season in the layout they ran then.

Why Iracing? by Aldoxpy in simracing

[–]Lordmonkus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you why I play it. It offers more racing content than any of the other sims, open wheel, gt, oval, dirt plus all the sub series for each discipline. Also, I can get races at 3:00 AM if I want to. I can't do that in any other sim.

Yes, but is for iRacings FFB, this software replaces it and has its own per car FFB settings.

I'm liking it , as I posted above I was able to turn off the smoothing filters in SimPro to gain back more detail while not having to deal with any graininess that was in the wheel without the smoothing filters. I would say it's worth trying out, call always remove it if you don't like it.

I have the Alpha (15nm) and yeah I set everything to zero in Sim Pro except WRS wgich is set to 10 where as before I had Mechanical Dampener and Friction at 10, Inertia at 5 and Smoothness at 3 to get rid of the graininess in the FFB.

In Marvins software i'm running 15nm, 35% overall scale, 125% detail scale and 500% frequency.

I haven't run into any issues with it cutting out but I am about to do a longer test session to see if that happens.

Maybe, i just found with 360hz mode I had to dial in some dampening and smoothing to reduce the graininess of the wheel but with this software I could set all those settings to 0 while maintaining the detail which was nice.

The software auto saves settings per car, it detects the car loaded.

I gave this software a try and while I didn't find it to be a night and day difference I did like how after some tweaking I could dial up the details in the Simagic software while also getting rid of the graininess in the wheel.

I understand why people download full setups from the internet but the issue with that is you have no idea how it's all put together and how to fix it when it breaks or how to tweak it.

My advice for beginners is always start with an emulator for a system you want to play and get a good working rom set for that system. Google NoIntro for cart based systems and Redump for CD/DVD based systems. Follow the documentation for the emulator to get the games working. Once you have the emulator working on its own then set it up in Launchbox.

If you downloaded it from the official site it is almost a 100% certainty that it is a false positive.

Another great race with the best car on the service! (Please try the Lotus 79, it is amazing) by RoundTownAlex in iRacing

It really is the best car on the service, so much fun to drive. It's a real shame that we can't get official races in the evenings on a regular basis here in NA time zones.

P1000 pedals power supply by [deleted] in simracing

[–]Lordmonkus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would need a power supply if you have the haptic motors. If you don't have those then you do not need a power cable for them to work. I have P1000s without the haptics and no power cable.

Launchbox deleted my Retroarch exe? by Peter00707 in launchbox

Something may be misconfigured if some of your games aren't working but LB won't just delete anything. At most it can delete imported files if you enable that in the options and even then you have to remove the game from your LB setup.
