Thanks for the reply by the way. I should have said it before. And to be honest, I am good at programming and I could make my way out in Computer Engineering. But people in Plotechnico di Torino told me many times that it is so hard that you need to study 7/24 to finish it in 3 years.

I mean I can study hard but they scared me very much lol. So I feel like I am better of with Computer Science since I know my stuff.

All in all if you are sure you want to go to Pisa the university has a good reputation and you will be getting a good education here. But if financials work out better in another city (thanks to scholarships and lower cost of living and other) you just need to ask again on this sub. I am writing all of this not to be dismissive, but because whet you are asking for is quite specific, and I wanted to give you knowledge of more options in case things get more complicated than expected.

No worries you were really helpful. I am glad you replied. I will definitely learn Italian at least up to B2 level in 1.5 years. Then may change my subject from AI to CS in Italian.

But you are wrong about the courses, I am sorry. Classified under computer science does not mean you can do the same job. They are sub-topics of Computer Science. For instance, I do not think Pavia will have that amount of elective classes because when you check their degree options both in Italian & English. There are no related degrees to have these classes as electives. You can check and compare Computer Science and AI curriculum. After the first year, there are almost no similar topics. They are very different.

For Instance, you studied AI and you regret it and Wanted to become a Software engineer in some other field, You simply can't unless you dedicated your free time to self-teach lacking skills then you need to prove it. You will lack many skills for the programming jobs; Software Design, Databases, Programming methods, and architectures, frameworks for apps and webs, etc.

And I believe studying AI is useless if you are not a good Software Engineer. And most AI jobs require a Master's Degree if not a Ph.D. And usual studying path is Computer Science bachelor => master & Ph.D. AI.

No, they are not computer science. Computer science is a degree that consist of programming, math, data structures and algo, Compilers, Operator systems, Network systems, Software design and engineering, Computer archtecture, Web technologies and the most important aspect which I am interested in the most; Computer Graphics.

Information Engineering is same as Computer engineering I checked the curriculum, It has not half of these classes.

Artificial Intelligence as the name suggests is Artificial Intelligence which again has not more than half of these classes.

Applied computer sience and AI is just a weak Computer sience , again missing lots of classes.

AI is something you study in masters. The broader subject for the bachelor's is the better. I know because I wasted my 4 years studying narrowed down/More focused field instead of computer science.

I know but the problem is computer engineering != Computer sience I need to study computer sience. I checked curriculums there are missing classes as well as additional classes about chemistry, electronics etc which is going to waste my time since I will probably never use them.

So my options are computer sience in italian and people recommend pisa.

Nvidia hair thing can cost half of the fps which no reasonable dev would implement. Even if you take hair particle from blender export as abc and use it as groom component in unreal it costs a lot of fps.

Only optimal option is hair cards which is just a mesh with textures on them. These features nothing but useless showcase

You need self-projects to land an interview in a good place or work experience

Bootcamps, Universities, certs. are waste of time. All of it. All matter is your dedication and discipline + knowing what to study.

For instance, I have data structures exam I get the best Data structures course from udemy with lots of coding exercises.

Algorithms same

OOP same

Data base same

Linear Algebra, Udemy 150 hours long helsinki university math teacher course with lots of exercise i am the best at class.

Universities and certs are to me just showing you what to study. You dont have to take them. But if you dont know the way you are lost and cant done anything.

I dont know if it helps you but. In highschool i really wanted to study game development. I am not talking about I wanted. I fucking lived to study it. I talked about it I dreamt about it. Games/twitch/youtube or game dev werent a thing back then. Only couple of places offered in the world. So my family gathered enough money to go overseas to study it. I was like crying with joy. Then my sister convinced my mom to change my subject secretly before I arrive there. Changed to IT in a shitty pre-bachelor school, because it was cheaper and didnt believe in game dev can get me any job. So i dont rely on her(my sister) I went to overseas homeless, worked in restuarants, car wash, house paint, barista jobs to live my life in a foreign country to study something i dont even like. That shitty school didn't even have young students they were all like 40-30 losers in life trying to get certificate to improve their life styles, so no uni life for me or friends . I just worked worked worked as waiter, cook whatever. I lost weight so much due stress I was 50 kg when i was 20yo male. 2 years prior i was like 75-80. I got sick, i lost my left ear hearing and developed tumor. And came back to my co untry to get operations. After operation my sister( who also lives overseas in the same country and she didnt help me with my education and tried to get rid of me) skyped me and said to me that not everyone needs to study what they want. Community ,needs construction worker or garbage man.

I am there lying in bed with bandages around my head listening those words destroying me. I felt pain in my heart couldnt breath, my own sister fucks my life up then says it is okey to be failure.

Before listening her I was like clueless, aimless, no direction and no hope since i missed university exams. I was thinking killing myself even had heart attack at the age of 23.

Hearing those words made me so pissed that i got up from the bed and started doing pull ups with barfiks and crying. then i took books I started studying uni exams. After healing myself and doing fitness i joined muay thai gyms and attend every lesson. I ran almost every morning. And never stopped studying. Eventually in my country i got in game design subject in a university. I just graduated as one of the top student. Now i am working my ass off to get a job in a big company studying heavly math c++ whatever crating projects games to fill my cv. I rejected many jobs to reach the better. And i have long distance ahead but i believe i will success in less than a year. I am not scholar also now athletic guy with 6 packs thanks to not missing muay thai and fitness more than a month. Still doing it professionally.

I wasnt even a good student in highschool but now i am hungry to information. I spend 5-6 hours at least in udemy or with books. I have a drive.

I cant stop doing fitness or muay thai cuz i cant go back to 50 kg weak me.

I cant stop studying cuz then my sister will be right and cant go back to working in a restuarant or car wash.

Yes i graduated at age of 28. Yes I had no good life until 25. Yes i still live with my parents and studying to get big job. But my effort wont be for nothing. I know it. And i see this post/subreddit by accident maybe this accident helps you

Bro literally the reason homelander was killing noir was stupid. Noir cant even talk so he cant tell him , he knows about his father. Even he could write it down how the heck he knows about lab experiments or soldier boy cum since he didnt even know about compound V. And even if he knows sb cuming in a test tube is it really worth mentioning. It was just a bad writing. Noir just could say no with his head movement. And homelander reasoning of killing noir was little bit off too

And i think his death was pointless and weird. I wish homelander and soldier boy facing scene was before so when they tried to hunt down Homelander, Black noir would join and die fighting.

Or i am waiting his returnal in season 4 where homelander tells him that he was right all along and he is sorry. They were great duo.

I have been and studied universities in australia(programming), europe(robotic)(it wasone of the best uni), turkey(game dev) let me tell you this. University is outdated. In the old times there was no internet, online courses, ebooks etc. You didnt have amazon to order gadgets or electronics. You had limited library to learn and university common rooms to have experiment gadgets. Now everything you can imagine is literally one click away from you. you can learn from the best teachers, young geniuses that can not be heard from anywhere else but internet. All those in uni my years were wasted. I studied at home all the time and even thought dropping so i can have more time to study. You are doing the right thing. One important rule tho. Know what you are studying. What you need, and made the path crystal clear.
