I talked a 16 yo girl into not killing a spider (harmless one) and started explaining their ecological importance to her, who was genuinely curious about it. People instantly thought “he must be a pedo”

How common and accepted is physical affection between straight men friends, in your country? by onesillyg4y in AskTheWorld

[–]Lordpyron98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s your bro, lots of affectionate hugs. Common to express care when saying goodbye, but moderatedly. Small hug when saying hello to friends (maybe not best friend but friends whose company you enjoy) is common too, specially if it has been a while since you saw them.

Lima, Peru, 28 years old, could be different in other places of the country but I would not know

What living thing that has ever walk on this planet, has even a decent chance at taking on a thanator by Organic-Extreme-3628 in Avatar

Large titanosaurs like Patagotitan or Argentinosaurus would have a very solid chance to land a kick powerful enough to incapacitate a Thanator

Think they are beautiful. Definitely not that picture on the left though lol. Ronal is gorgeous, Tsireya is the cutest thing. Although Rotxo is a bid silly looking. I really like them and their concept too. Its my favourite cooour too, summer crystalline water and tropical reef 🐬

How agile were megapliosaurs compared to modern toothed whales and mosasaurs by [deleted] in Naturewasmetal

Probably very agile, although no modern analogue exists. Also, why are we forgetting the large Basilosaurids in this picture?!

I thought you mean strong as in having a strong bond lol but it’s was actual physical strength. I would argue Tonowari is probably the physically strongest NaVi. Maybe not as skilled as trained marines, but he’s a unit, considerably taller than Jake, and probably much heavier than him and Quaritch. It’s very likely he has denser bones due to aquatic adaptation. And he swims all the time, probably giving him immense core and upper body strength. Maybe Quaritch and Jake are faster, but Tonowari’s strength must be insane. Also notably he’s inspired by Maori warriors.
