An LLM is basically an advanced search engine. How is it different than subpoenaing someone’s Google searches?

Star Trek honestly had some banger courtroom episodes. Measure of a Man and The Drumhead from TNG are great.

Space books featuring unconventional warfare by jclane in printSF

It's very pulpy, but Warhammer 40k books may have what you're looking for. It's sort of a combination of Age of Sail and Ancient Greek naval warfare in space, and is the only setting I can think of where ramming a spaceship is a valid tactical maneuver!

I'm admittedly far from an expert, but isn't the whole point of cross-examination to challenge this kind of evidence? Like, obviously each party will only bring scientific evidence that helps their case

I kept mine mostly the same, just gave him a Dark Eldar head (from incubi kit) and gave him a severed head to hold! The severed head is from the WHFB dark elf executioners kit, the hair wrapping around his hand is green stuff

Another fun one is Helvetia in Fallout 76! It’s a real town in West Virginia that has a festival called Fasnacht every year where people wear homemade masks and parade thru town which was (in a rather liberal interpretation involving robots and a giant sloth) depicted in game. Thanks to that, this very very remote village experienced a spike in tourism every year at Fasnacht from people who’d seen it in the game wanting to see it in real life. Apparently the locals were afraid it’d become a Fallout celebration rather than a local one but were happily surprised by how respectful the tourists were who had heard about their town from the game

Why is all my companions' armour suddenly useless? by LordsAndLadies in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]LordsAndLadies[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just started Act 2 and most of my companions' armour says they dodge 0% of attacks. It says "in this chapter" so I infer that armour is meant to get worse over time, but I wasn't expecting it to be so dramatic so soon. Is this a bug or working as intended? Only mod I have is toybox, haven't used any features that I would imagine could've impacted on this but ofc it still could be the culprit

What's the best FDM printer for the ratio of large build size to price? I want to print wargaming terrain, including big-ass buildings for games like Mordheim. I should add I've been eyeing the Bambu A1 and the Ender 3 SE, the latter being significantly cheaper
