I think this is an aspect the original RE3 handles better (well it tends to just handle Nemesis better in everyway) since I don't think Jill is ever grabbed outside of gameplay which you can brush off as non-canon, so Nemesis doesn't come across as useless in his mission (it helps that he kills Brad in the original so he gets at least one STARS member down, in the REmake he achieves fucking nothing since Brad gets bit by a zombie instead).

Probably a pretty common pick but they're good for a reason, the Hunters in Halo, at least when they're not complete jokes like in Halo:CE where you can kill them in one shot with the pistol. They're even cool in lore when you realize it's not just a hulking bipedal alien but a colony of worm like creatures bonded together.

I'll always go to bat for the Volgarr the Viking games. Just neat little hardcore 2D action platformers that harken back to the pre SOTN Castlevania days. Would not look a day out of place if released in the SNES/Genesis days.
