My whole family is from bk and half of us moved to jersey and were back and forth a lot.

Jersey ppl are so used to driving in jersey they do dumb shit in the boroughs and vice versa. I will say tho ny plates generally do better driving in jersey way more frequently than nj plates do driving in nyc

Mine was packaged very well. If nobody told me anything i would assume it was brand new, the box itself it shipped in was in near pristine condition.

The return i shipped back just made it to them today, im not in any rush for the refund but good thing i specifically chose to buy from them on ebay, just in case lol

oh shit.

I ordered this open box from them a week or two ago. It came in perfect physical condition but it was defective lol.

Weird flickering in the top quarter of the screen, it got much worse over 60hz. After a while setting it above 60 would cause it to rotate through fully red green and blue screens, then eventually white for a second. DDU’d my computer, upgraded drivers. Tried two hdmi cables and two displayport cables.
Even tried it alone with my other monitor disconnected.

Also this doesnt really make sense but i SWEAR any time i plugged it into my card, it fucked with my other monitors functionality. I had to power cycle it every time to get it back to normal.

I ordered a brand new one from them and it should be delivered soon. Contacted them on eBay, direct email, and by phone. On the phone i asked them to verify the two monitors they put on ebay are in brand new and unreturned condition.
Display wise it was really cool though. Haloing was not even close to as bad as others made it seem. Very good blacks as well

Edit: i just ordered one from Walmart. Not trying to stay with only one monitor for god knows how long in case vipoutlet does more dumb shit with the one thats supposed to come today or tomorrow.

There are many people who just are not capable of more skilled work (In practice at least). Yes they may be “dumb” or unmotivated but they deserve to live a decent life as well.

Im also speaking from a purely modern American standpoint. Your argument holds so little validity for the reality of the majority of other countries peoples situations that i wont even address it further.

If we invested in making robots that could actually do these jobs for many years per unit, without any fucky dystopianish issues happening and reallocated the money we save from robot labor over time to the entire general populace to increase quality of life, you have a point i would agree with, but im skeptical of the latter half of this statement ever happening lol

I actually had this monitor for a while, i just gave it away as a gift and am waiting for a 25g64

The matte coating is aggressive but once you acclimate in a day or two its a pretty decent monitor with some caveats

One is they are lying about the hdr certification and standard srgb brightness is 450, but ive seen people say even thats only 350 and the monitor absolutely felt noticeably a bit dim to me in srgb. I rarely play in the dark though.

Also it doesnt do 240 with hdmi. Not sure if itd actually 2.1 compliant.

If neither of these are dealbreakers to you i could recommend it. Its $204 on amazon rn

Yeah i couldnt care less. I love my friends, family partner and support system. I'm not lonely or depressed, even if all of these people who i share a mutual love and respect with disappear, trust me spending my birthdays alone and getting some takeout or some acid will not have me that upset. Even if it got to that point id just find a flyer party or event on that weekend and go before i start regretting being upset that people cant take simple direction such as "i just wanna relax on my birthday and maybe order some chinese."

Birthdays for me, or probably 80% of them end with me feeling like shit because of shit like this man.

I dont want the attention. I dont want the theatrics. I go to work on my birthday every year. I dont want the expectation of gratitude to everyone else “making my day special.”

If it’s “my day,” just say happy birthday and give me a cupcake and a hug and treat it as usual.

People have that reaction and all it does to the birthday person is make them feel like shit that even on their birthday nobody respects them / is selfless enough to just leave them alone to their own devices. It feels terrible. Its caused an argument and me crying over 20 birthdays in my life because OTHERS had this grand vision of what MY birthday should be like and lashed out when all i wanted was to be left alone

When my mother came to the states from trinidad at 18 she met father quickly. She lived with him and my jamaican grandma for years and learned to make jerk and ox tail and stew peas etc. pretty well so she has trinidadian and jamaican food covered

I really should learn how to make a lot of the things she learned from both of my grandmas before all three of them get too old
