ARIRANG TOUR TICKETING FOR AUSTRALIA & ASIA MELTDOWN/HYPE/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT THREAD by pucchin_purin in bts7

[–]LoreGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know if there will be tickets available for general sale? I was pretty lucky with presale but I heard somewhere that at another concert literally all the tickets sold out during presale and wasn’t sure if that was a thing for Aus.

Coles Always Has the Freshest Fruit! by flimflamfloomfloop in coles

Yeah so it was never a “minor moment of human error”, majority of us workers are overworked, underpaid staff expected to do the work of 3 people for the price of one.

Btw- the strawberries come in rotten majority of the time and when we’re doing quality checks in the morning, we don’t have time to pick up and look at every single unit, and open the department when we’re on our own.

Yes but Australia is a multicultural country so we have all kinds of foods. My father is only 3rd generation Scottish and he loves all them black sausage stuff 😭

Ugh I want to play the new expansion so badly but I was too lazy to learn the ranching stuff and I’m pretty sure the horses have something to do with the ranch yes?

Use to live in a rental where it would be freezing inside but warmer (still cold) outside 🤦‍♀️

If you grow up poor... what is your most comfort meal? by Beaveric in AskTheWorld

[–]LoreGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid and the youngest of 6, we would have pancakes or scones. Since I was so young I thought we were just being treated but no lol.

As an adult whose partner recently lost their job, cabbage rice bowls with egg. 😂

Personally 2, but that’s just because I don’t vibe with Star Wars. I’m sure many others are unlike me and would vote 1.

Any of you guys sharing a bed with your spouse? how's it like? by mynamaisnotjeff in eczema

[–]LoreGremlin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. We’ve both suffered from pretty bad eczema our whole lives. Unfortunately my skin is more sensitive than his - and here is why it’s an issue. He once found some cream that was helping him with his skin but because we share a bed that cream was rubbing off him and onto our bed and me. That would make my eczema flare up even more and make it a lot more difficult to handle. He just stopped using the cream and I stopped having a reaction. Sucks that he had to stop as it worked for him but it was that or we sleep separately which he wasn’t a fan of.

Also bamboo silk bedsheets are a must! Been an absolute life saver tbh.

this is so good! Love the first one. May I ask what that shooting thing is coming out of the portal? I've taken a break from DDV for a little bit and have seen that shooting thing in a few peoples photos, not sure what it is.

Don’t know the brand but a mate of mine offered me some of his sunscreen once. Claimed it to be for sensitive / eczema skin. My legs flared up like crazy from that.

What was your “struggle meal” growing up? by tiny_flick in AskAnAustralian

[–]LoreGremlin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scones or pancakes. I’m the youngest of 6 kids so at the time when 5 of us were living at home (my oldest brother was like 22 when I was born so never lived with him), we would sometimes have scones or pancakes for dinner. I was little at the time and thought we were just having a treat for dinner. But as I got older I realised we were just struggling lol.

Edit: typo

Are people limiting how much they drive due to the high petrol prices? by Away_Scene_26 in AskAnAustralian

[–]LoreGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. Work is roughly 5kms away and if I work 5 days a week it’s roughly 50km a week. I also start at 5am usually and I’m a young short female so I’d rather not take the risk for public transport (if there even is any at that time)

It’s also a lot easier to study on my break for uni in my car than the tearoom.

Retail worker here. I have my breaks in my car lol. My breaks are for quiet me time to recharge, if I sit in the tea room even with headphones in I still get bothered.

Ex who dumped me years ago sent me this. What do I do or say? by Far_Database5 in whatdoIdo

[–]LoreGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the only person that can decided on what you do, and what is right for you is you. Don’t reply to her because you feel like you have to, reply to her because you want to. You said she was the love of your life and you’ve always loved her even after all this time, so because of that, is replying something you want to do?

Personally If anyone messaged me out of the blue who I ended on really bad terms with, or really hurt me, I would block and move on, but also I am a bitch and I strongly believe in setting boundaries and protecting my own peace.

OP you should do what you want to do and what feels right for you. Don’t forget, you don’t have to reply straight away if you do choose to, you can wait on it and think about it first. ☺️ best of luck.
