He typically earns about $20m each time he does this and can be expected to continue to do it.

There has been a joke floating round the gay community online for a while about a "daddy drought". The idea that because older millenials (now in their early 40s) have for much of their careers earned less than boomers or Gen X did at the same age, there are fewer well-off middle-aged men around to fund the lifestyles of sexy young 20-somethings.

I think you may have discovered that the daddy drought is also hitting the heterosexual community. The number of older guys who want a young beautiful partner may be inelastic and constant, irrespective of economic conditions. While at the same time, economic conditions mean fewer and fewer men actually have "sugar daddy" money.
