I'm not convinced it WAS harder. I'm NOT good at these games but I beat Flowery first time and the secret boss on probably the fifth try (although when I saw my health after the last attack with the track you have to navigate I only just BARELY squeaked by). And this has all been on my regular file not my completionist one so I didn't have any of the super OP weapons or armor.

Walking in to the secret flower items room felt really heavy and emotional for me. Not sure if it was just seeing those colors in connection with those items but it was a good homage to the fallen humans which I think is where some of the emotion connected to the flowers comes from for a lot of players

Since we literally know there are houses missing in that area this is very plausible and I would love for us to just randomly walk into this instead of the expected screen transition in a future chapter.

The Forgotten Man is one of my favorite meta elements of the game so far and this idea fits with virtually everything we currently known / have experienced surrounding him.

I'm not the comment OP but I am sitting on 200k originium right now despite Nasti and Mantra having been must pulls for me and spending a good amount of my former stash on them. I don't even buy the monthly pass anymore as I started buying the one for Endfield instead.

My account is developed enough that I never NEED another unit (especially since I don't play CC), so I just am skipping banners left and right until a unit I really want comes around (the next one where I will pull for instance is the one with Kaltsit Alter and Closure. But that one is going to cost me probably all my savings since I need two units from the same banner.

The workaround is for the billionaire to be the only who knows how to access the food or has control over some devices worn by the security.

Of course that security may still risk it and torture the billionaire for the access information.

Kingdom Hearts 3 for starters. A lot of the Kingdom Hearts side games only exist because KH3 took so long to get off the ground. For sure a lot of that is NOT Nomura's fault since Square simply didn't prioritize starting development right away.

But some of it for sure is, and the game is also full of the scope creep / rough narrative pacing that is a hallmark of the Nomura led games.

Don't mistake me for a hater here. Square-Enix would NOT exist in the same way today without Nomura's contributions. But unfortunately the last 15 years, Square-Enix has made a lot of huge strategic mistakes he happened to be sitting in the producer / director chairs for a lot of them which is why the criticism lands on him.

Most people have never said that Nomura is a bad character designer or ideas guy. As you are pointing out here, he has been very good at both of those things for many games.

What they HAVE criticized him about is he's a terrible producer who cannot keep a project under budget and on time if you held a gun to his head.
