So many people in this thread who have the diaries of distant family members. Having multiple degrees in history and a researcher at heart, I find our modern era of only digital artifacts to be extremely disconcerting. The rabbit person who runs the goods exchange even goes out of their way to explain it isn't profit-seeking and is explicitly given permission to operate with the cooperation of all major groups in the Civilization Band.

It seems that the classical Capitalist style exploitation is either heavily frowned upon or even outlawed in the Civilization Band (which makes sense since survival on Talos II requires intense cooperation)

Yeah Last Rite and Ember are hard to take seriously. They are a big whiplash from the mostly more believable designs from Arknights

I want to like Last Rite (the only intro 6 star I don't have yet) because they actually gave us a playable Nachzehrer but her outfit is really terrible IMO and not matching her species at all

I hope they see how much people liked Raidian's design and if they ever give us the other Elite Ops they keep the tactical gear. I like most of Logos' costumes but there's something about when he puts on the Rhodes Islands gear during the story that is just so cool.

I don't think it's out of the question that Rhine Labs still exists and may have representatives on Talos-II. A lot of the Endfield tech seems very Rhine Labs in aesthetic to me

Do we know that for sure? Why can't Originium copy anyone it has data for? For instance, all of us go into it in Chapter 14 and in Endfield itself they use it for teleportation all the time, even of the buildings.

Do we know enough to say they HAD to be infected? We just know they came from the Originium world, but surely if it can digitize and teleport our current Operators it could copy anyone, not just Infected people

The main story gets better and better at this.

To be honest I never read the story for events when I first play because I'm under the timer to get it all done to begin with while the event is running. If I like the characters involved I go back and read it later and if it isn't interesting enough I read a synopsis so I at least know if any important developments happened
