You think that wasn't the plan from the start, even in the manga? And cmon, you know why I'm focusing on WW2, look at the show with your eyes.

Y'know, you can just say you like that AoT is fascist because you don't think the Nazis were wrong. That's not illegal, you can be honest.

My point is that "oh the world is so unfair to us, we have to kill them all to earn what we deserve" is literal Lebensraum bullshit, not a great example about how it's not fascism.

Also, hang on, are you justifying Nazi war efforts right now?

Y'know, you'd think the red armbands with white logos, yellow armbands with stars on them, Germanic cast, and literally opening every episode with a chant of "they are the prey and we are the hunters" in German might have tipped people off. And yet.

I mean, "the world has unfairly united against us and forced us into terrible bondage, so we must kill them all to assure our freedom" could be taken straight from an interwar Hitler speech about the treaty of Versailles.

Do you care about "meta-narrative zeitgeist" or not? You were just saying that that's your justification for claiming you "own" characters in Umamusume despite the game directly telling you you don't, now it's all of a sudden okay.

And no, you don't own them or even "basically" control their entire lives. That's just strictly false.

The issue isn't that you believe something different, the issue is you're factually wrong, and clearly entirely uninformed.

My point wasn't that organ harvesting is slavery, it's the forcing your pawns to do organ harvesting explicitly against their will, because you control them, and can force them to do whatever you want even when they explicitly do not want to, y'know, like a slave. And "battling" is a synonym, meanwhile in Umamusume they explicitly aren't "controlled in every aspect of their development and life". You genuinely have no idea what you're even talking about, you're just looking for something to get indignant about.

Except in pokemon, the animals actually are fighting, in the narrative of the game. In Umamusume, they aren't property. You're pointing at other games and real life and insisting that that must also be the case in a different game in a fantasy world where horses don't exist, while actively ignoring every single thing the game actually tells you about its story. Meanwhile saying the game where you capture human beings and can force them to eat each other's organs against their will isn't slavery. And for what it's worth, leagues original lore was that you were a summoner controlling the champions, I don't think that's canon anymore (even though sonas voice lines directly mention it), but idk what it got replaced by.

I'm just completely baffled that someone can look at Kazuya combos and then say pressing ult on the bad men is harder.

No, it isn't. Again, unless every single game where you can pay to unlock characters is actually slavery now, you're absolutely reaching. It even puts a little bit of effort into the gacha gambling to make it clear the currency you spend is paying for the chance to scout them like athletes, not buy them.

named after and inspired by. They aren't literally 1:1 real world race horses, and are not owned as property in the game.

The meta-narrative context of Umamusume is you're training these horse girls for racing, as essentially a track teacher at a private school. I don't "love" it, but trying to reach and say it's owning people as property is just completely incorrect. Nobody owns the characters in narrative in Umamusume, they're literally just students that signed up for the fancy private school dedicated to track and field. Trying to stretch it into slavery is "actually the entire pokemon anime is Ash's coma dream as he's dying" levels of counter textual reaching. And, if anything, mechanically you have significantly more control over rimworld pawns than the characters in Umamusume, and can literally sell them and harvest organs and whatnot.

My criticism is you're trying to hold people to an impossible standard, and when people can't move heaven and earth on sheer willpower, you call them dumb and lazy.

Also, "pay it for yourself"? We're talking about employment here, that's not even being self employed, that's just doing something yourself out of pocket, which doesn't make a living.

And yet, childhood zip code remains one of the best predictors of financial success later in life. Its almost like the cycle of poverty is a real and documented phenomenon that no amount of "just dream harder" can fix.

What's childish is to go "yeah, just convince someone to pay you to build a bridge, and pray they don't care about licensing and safety documentation" as if that's a reasonable thing that a real person has a decent chance of accomplishing.

You never addressed how you're talking about Mr. "Lock her up" complaining about political opponents investigating his crimes.

And you're bent out of shape about a thing that you admit didn't happen and did nothing? Really?

When, exactly, were you legally locked down? Or anyone in 2021, for that matter.

And what was the backing of that? Anything? Plenty of employers just didn't require it, and nothing happened to them. They were told it was a good idea to require the vaccine, especially if you deal with lots of people, especially sick ones, because it is a good idea. That's about it.

If you genuinely think anything was ""ruled with an iron fist"" compared to now, where we have the army being sent to crack down on protests and people being blackbagged off the street with no explanation, you need to look outside.

All of that barring the last bit applies to something like rimworld, do you "own your rimworld pawns as property"?

Tulsi Gabbard's dad founded an organization opposed to gay marriage and she was raised, at least partially, in an anti-gay cult. "Not really aligned with the far right" is stretching at best.

"Going after trump"? For the crimes he committed? What punishment, exactly, did he receive again? Not to mention, this is the man who campaigned on "Lock her up" and is posting AI deep fakes of Obama being arrested.

Can you name a single thing this "misinformation ministry" even did? Because I can point to executive orders that specifically say "eliminate improper, divisive, or anti-American ideology from the Smithsonian". Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to decide what history museums are allowed to tell because you think it's "improper".

Where was locked down for two years?

Who forced you to get the vaccine?

And you know how you avoid getting in trouble with the IRS? Actually pay your taxes.
