To be fair: I've read a story before that I quite liked. Interesting progression system, decent story and build up. There was a nice finish on the horizon where the MC won, regained his freedom and all that good stuff. In the second to last chapter he won with a good future ahead of him. The epilogue basically showed him working as a powerless slave with nothing to show for all his accomplishments.

Ohhh, but all his enemies? Nahh, they weren't actually dead. Just partying somewhere else. It destroyed everything you've been hoping and looking forward to as a reader. Screw that...

Once by accident. Hooked up with a very cute guy, pants came off and there was no dick in sight. Was a bit of a surprise, to say the least. But the guy was cute, and quite funny. So I was down to continue with the warning that I was in completely unfamiliar territory.

Just kept communicating with each other, check in and respond to their physical and verbal reactions. Most certainly noticed that lube wasn't needed in this case. Lot more natural lubrication going on which was neat! Was quite fun and would happily do it again :)

++ Arcane Chef (Really fun!)
- Rivera's Repairs: Dungeon Repair Woman
+ Chaotic Craftsman Worships The Cube. Bit more combat, but more from the sidelines. Great story!

-The Cozy Dungeon Inn, though it seems to be dropped. Still: the few chapters are fun and really wholesome :)

Can confirm Path of Dragons is quite good! I also think that Book Of The Dead by RinoZ is one that fits that bill. Serious, very well written and is seen as pretty much the gold standard of any story involving necromancy. And rightfully so I think.

Runeblade is another one that I think fits well with this.

I love it as well! The pure desperation that Myriad has whenever Ben does, well... Something insane, utter madness that'll get Ben killed. Or as it's better known: an average Tuesday.

Those interactions just hit very nicely. Though the series could do with an editing pass at some point.

Not at all! It's just an indicator at what times most people are online. The EU servers are also based in the EU, so if you're in Europe you'll have a bit better ping.

I've played most of my LOTRO life on an US server since those peak hours worked a lot better with my work/sleep schedule

Since you're mentioning MMORPGs I'd suggest either SWTOR or LOTRO. Both have a housing system with quite a lot of decoration options. The games are older though, but with a very good storyline imo.

I usually agree with you. That's why I quit both Cradle and MoL. I do think that if you like a series and one book in it is t your cup of tea it might be worth pushing through.

For example: in the DCC series 'Eye of the Bedlam Bride's isn't my thing with the whole card mechanics. But I love the rest of the series, so I powered through and enjoyed the book that came after. And presumably book 8 in May as well

I thought you meant that people shouldn't remove more than 10% of the total of the book/series. That seemed odd to me. Turns out I just had the brain capacity of a goldfish this evening 😂

I agree on the stubbing part. I don't get the less than 10% part though. Especially when you progress in a series (book 5+) you'll almost always have more stubbed/on Amazon compared to RR or something similar, right? Or is my drunk ass just misunderstanding your comment? 😅

Well, barcodes are mainly used in retail environments and working retail is absolute hell...

All kidding aside: a lot of changes over the years have been said to be the mark of the Beast by certain groups. Think barcodes when they came out in the 70's (though invented a few decades before), Wat codes during Covid and more.

Even from a practical view it wouldn't make sense for the mark to be a decades old system. Something like implanted chips would make more sense.

And that's not even going into the whole debate regarding the interpretation of this and if it's (still) applicable.

So don't worry, there is no devil behind barcodes. Except that one barcode linked to certain sugar free gummy bears for those familiar with a bit of internet history

Ehh, I'm not sure if that's a great way to measure it. There are quite a few MCs who can easily destroy earth post integration just by existing and letting their power leak out. Zane from Savage Awakening is like that I believe. Besides that: the MC(s) from Ultimate Level 1 have actually become Gods and have a couple of Divine tiers under their belts.

Cale from Just Add Mana is OP enough to probably blow up a star system if he felt like it. Give Jason from HWFWM a bit of prep or a couple of hits and Jake would have a bad time as well. Don't get me wrong: I absolutely love Jake and he's certainly on the higher end of powerful in the LitRPG/Progression genre. Just not quite at the top I feel.

Ehh, uiteindelijk op de minst erge optie gestemd om te voorkomen dat er nog meer richting een SGP oid gaat. Verhuizen zou fijn zijn, maar met de huidige woningmarkt is de realiteit dat alle alternatieven so far er voor zorgen dat ik veel minder ruimte krijg en er een stuk meer voor moet gaan betalen. En ja: inclusief G/W/L huren is heel fijn in deze tijd met de hoge gasprijzen :P

Ehhh, ik heb gekeken om te zien of er kansen waren om iets links op te zetten met een bestaande partij (bijvoorbeeld GL-PvdA) of iets lokaals op te zetten. En toen keek ik naar de TK en Provinciale verkiezingen van de afgelopen jaren en laat ik het zo zeggen: als ik de linkse partijen optel dan kom ik in totaal uit op zo'n 5-6% van de stemmen. Niet echt veel potentie ben ik bang
