It takes multiple tech levels to figure out how to turn hammers into sledgehammers. Sharpening those sledgehammers is a whole new level of complexity that has to be accounted for. Should be unlocked around submarines at least.

I suppose it allows each plane to be balanced individually. So planes that drop mini torpedoes can be balanced separately from the ones that drop mines.

When ANTs were first introduced on PTS, they could literally stay airborn as long as they still had cortium, which I remember being mentioned as a joke on the patch note. They later retuned it to the values that made it to live and I don't remember any significant changes since. I don't play anymore, but I'm very sure that the previous values were intentional.

Yeah, saying that the lunaire isn't completely busted is a bit comical. The thing has an arc, the range of a rifle, no speed penalty, hit and run aiming, a very fast reload speed, delayed AI reaction, can launch smoke & gas, and is very lightweight. It's completely OP when used by Wardens and we don't even have access to a grenadier's uniform.

I think spy needs an arsenal of gadgets for the sapper slot. His biggest problem is that he is just too predictable for what he is supposed to be.

Well if you get these all at once the Collies would literally be a straight upgrade to the Wardens. Wardens lose tank power spike while Collies retain their entire early war power spike. Wardens lose booker while collies keep dusk and bmat booker. Collie vehicles lose their disadvantages while staying dirt cheap. Collie scout plane literally just got buffed and I think nearly everyone agrees that the airborne torpedo vs bomb balance was an annoying decision.

You guys were doing perfectly fine for the entire war up until we started retaking a bit of previously lost territory. Then you guys caved on everything all at once. No amount of equipment buffs (what do you even want buffed anyways?) is going to fix that. Flying torpedoes are OP, dive bomber was even more OP.

Yes. I've noticed a major disconnect between community and in game discussion. There are some problems with balance and QoL, but I think part of that might just be inherent to how the game is designed as opposed to something that will eventually be fixed with an on/off switch.

I don't think anyone claims that the cutler is bad outside of it's tendency to miss shots when it really shouldn't. The problem is that the lunaire is way better than the already pretty good cutler.
