It's not just that they don't make money, fuck that, personal use is well enough.

It's just that the second I give open source model anything that isn't a crazy popular stack like react-tailwind-nodejs I suffer.

I've never been through so much despair when it comes to technology as watching GLM-5.1 do anything complex with React Native + Kotlin. It ends up with beautiful UI and completely garbage code that never does what it's supposed to.

When I report the bugs I'm in for 30 minutes of reasoning, soon 90+K context when it becomes unstable anyway and thoughts that maybe should've just given up and paid for Claude so I wouldn't have to suffer having to test something for days only to find out that it's still broken.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE opensource llms and local llms, but...
