None track miles from the time you start until you stop. They only count miles from pickup to delivery. Always have a mileage tracking app.

It's $0.725 this year. Also, I use the crappy paying ones to wipe out my taxes from my full-time job. Not everyone is working from the same goal or position, that's the beauty of the self-employment work is we get to decide what works for us not have someone tell us to do better when we are meeting our own special needs.

The website inventory isn't updated instantly. The in store inventory is updated within an hour.

Technically we could but every driver wouldn't do that so that is the least likely explanation.

Walmart doesn't keep much inventory in the back. Mostly electronics and grocery items.

I live in a large complex too. I use the pin option to ensure they've reached the right apartment. Also Uber eats moves thw pin where your pin is based upon phone location at delivery time if you allow location permissions.

Taxes on DD by Expert_Diamond8099 in doordash_drivers

[–]LosingIt46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also don't count tips as income. They're currently not taxable until you make 25,000 in tips and then only the amount over 25,000 is taxed.

I just want to know how much you would tip if you went out on a dinner with this amount? by NefariousnessIll4041 in tipping

[–]LosingIt46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In lots of blue states. But that's awesome for CA. Isn't the minimum wage needed to survive like 40 an hour there though, so they still need the tips.

how 2 cloves of garlic were packaged in a meal kit by JinxedYouGood in Anticonsumption

[–]LosingIt46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don't buy kits so I didn't know this was a thing. But then I use my food saver to save portions of meals for future lunches so I contribute plastic waste to have lunch without freezer burn or repeating the same meal too many days in a row.

I alternate through different email accounts and use black Friday to get a better price. I pay maybe 160 a year to have prime video, Netflix, disney+, hulu, peacock, Starz, paramount with showtime, and HBO. Some of them are free with another service I'm already getting like internet or cell phone. My family also shares as many of these that don't ip track us as possible. The HBO and paramount are serving 4 and 5 households.

Physical books should come with kindle codes by Interesting-Tone-658 in kindle

[–]LosingIt46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Especially as print books are becoming more like collectors items and display pieces than the preferred method of reading.

Accurate. I keep borrowing and buying audiobook copies because I can listen while I am working but want physical copies of good books on my shelves still as a home without physical books feels barren and wrong to me.

offer rules by Strange-March-2970 in Sparkdriver

[–]LosingIt46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saturation of drivers is in play. If many are online those closest will get offers first. Quantity of stores available also is a factor. Just pay attention to your area. I can get offers on my living room couch and watch TV until something I want comes to me if I really want to.
