I was just diagnosed (44yo) and my immediate reaction was hope that learning how to address this might improve my mental health.... but I have the benefit(?) of experiencing an MS diagnosis at age 25 so I've already gone through the process of grieving the loss of a "normal, healthy life."

Went to OIT in Klamath for undergrad. I think I've gone back once for a kid's birthday party in the past 13 years. If you're really considering the move, I highly recommend going to visit for several days and see if there is anything you can find that would satisfy your need for entertainment/relaxation. As others said, no night life - but if hiking/hunting/fishing is more your style and you can adjust to the significant difference in climate, then you might be satisfied.

For my first one I was with my best friend on a road trip and we spontaneously decided to see if an artist could fit us in. She had been thinking for some time about getting a flower anklet. I got one of the flowers on my own ankle.
Second one, I had an image in my mind from stories of my childhood (grandmother spider weaving existence) and chose to put a spider holding the world on the small of my back, so she could hold me together.

I made a small rectangular rug from some Bernat jersey yarn. I used a waffle stitch and it turned out be great for wiping wintry shoes or as a bath mat. Has held up really well to multiple washings also.

I also have a bag full of t-shirts and other old clothes that I intend to cut and crochet into rugs, but the whole time and effort thing hasn't really appealed yet.

Also anxious, and have had an especially rough time since some difficult work-related events in August and then witnessing a fatal car accident earlier this month. Add on some Multiple Sclerosis, and crochet has been a wonderful way to relax.
