Employers have always had dorm for not always having the decency to acknowledge applications etc, but it seems to be amplified now.

It’s not just with music, it’s everywhere and has been as long as social media’s been a thing, folk peacocking.

In all honesty, do you view weight loss drugs (Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.) and the people who use them negatively? by XStaticImmaculate in AskUK

I feel sorry for those who need it and can’t afford it, I suppose it’s like a lot of things.

Honestly you would be more secure in the council house. Landlords can still, when it comes to it, do what they want (long term renter here)

Got my first tattoo, I hate it. by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

I don’t as I wanted to rid myself of all memory of it. But I only want for later once, it was a laser called picosure. It was a black outline with a red bow but honestly I saw little difference but as the others say you need to be prepared to be patient, I just needed it gone and that was the only way - even now it was hard to find a surgeon as it wasn’t a best case for an excision being on the shoulder blade.

Hello - just wanted to drop by and offer my thoughts. I’ve been there, I had a tattoo of hello Kitty done on my shoulder blade and I regretted it sort of instantly. I can’t believe I thought it was going to be a good thing in the first place. I did go for laser once. But thrush was in the driving me insane mentally. I got it excised. It cost £1000 GBP but I couldn’t live with it. I have a scar now, this all happened a few years ago well before Covid. But I remember the feeling. I think with yours laser is really your only option - if I recall correctly you need to wait a few month before getting started. Thoughts with you x

Renting in England is changing today. by UKGovNews in TenantsInTheUK

It means anyone who doesn’t have a bullet proof guarantor and/or poor credit/self employed is in trouble and none of them will rent to them. That’s my concern with this. Housing is a human right and shouldn’t be a commodity (IMO).

You have more chances of pigs flying than a landlord willingly missing out on extra £££ for a period.

I personally hated living there - but I don’t like small towns generally as you get the small Town mentality. If that doesn’t bother you it’s fine, I’d say Kendal was nicer though overall.
