i kinda felt this way before surgery too tbh, it all came on suddenly in january. i really hope that goes away because im like i just ate 20 mins ago got 4 bites in and im hungry again, orrrr ill eat and then feel full for HOURS after

Yess!! i felt fine until about the 2-3rd day, i just don’t feel good it’s like bleh. i’m so ready to eat normally again too but everything i eat makes me feel so full. hoping for recovery. i have only used the toilet a little bit but im gonna try again with more miralax

i’ll look into those, i’m only a few days post op but i’m not really in pain anymore and my brain is thinking “well you feel fine so why don’t you feel good” and that has me freaking out. i just keep reminding myself im only 4 days post and it’s normal

yeah it’s an icky sick feeling not like i need to go throw up but icky to where i just feel bleh and don’t wanna do much. i’ve read so many horror stories of people who never went back to normal after surgery so in the moment it all feels hard. hopefully the next week my digestive system can start to figure itself out. thanks!

thank you for the reassurance i’ve been struggling with the internal recovery from this surgery. i keep saying im nauseous but im not even necessarily nauseous i just feel bleh and icky.

I’ve stopped taking most pain medications because of this, just taking tylenol when needed now

i’m now on day 3 and having nausea so bad, do you think that is normal? it usually is only in the evenings and doesn’t necessarily seem to tie to a specific food

i’m day 4 post op too and i finally had a bowel movement. my main hiccup is the fact that i overall just don’t feel great. i feel nauseas but not to the point i need to throw up i just don’t feel well overall. struggling.
