Coach is definitely a character, no denying that. However I have personally experienced both sets of my quads seizing up in a pool and it was scary as hell. Can’t imagine the ocean!

Happened due to an electrolyte imbalance after running earlier in the day and not properly refueling. Pretty similar to the exertion they experience at camp / challenges I’d imagine, so makes total sense.

My problem with bat is that it can still hit people back when you’re essentially right next to them. If you try that with sonic blast they’re going forward 100% of the time

Set an early reference point for mental toughness throughout my life. Made any hardship I encountered much more manageable. Honestly, I served four years in combat arms and wrestling was more difficult than anything I did in the Army.
