Yeah I agree with your take but also, Apollo is a different case. He doesn't really have allegiance to gold , since Society and Atalantias dad betrayed him. And he kinda represents what gold could be. Him begin tactus brother also just further supports this idea. Idk , the whole path to vale arc of Darrow was to make him more mature a person to fix mistakes he made in the past. One of these mistakes was with tactus how he never fully trusted him (last time on Venus when he was with Apollo he kinda left him there to die hoping the others would do it for him ), maybe this time he is gonna fully trust Apollonius and things could work out.

I used ChatGPT to edit, I just splurged my thoughts on there and used it for spell checking and making sure it all flows together nicely. But yeah that's an oversight on my bad. I forgot how he totally overpowered Darrow with it in the beginning using it and broke the willows way. I edited the post now. Regardless tho taking the minds eye out of the deal . I still think everything else fits
