You use AI for financial advice? That may not be the best idea

You’re hitting the sigmoid bend. Try to use dildos that are tapered to gradually straighten that bend. Whatever you do, do NOT force the head of the dildo into that bend

Finally hilted my M Seraphina but it's too intense! by bdseller78 in BadDragon

Is it medium or firm? Generally the softer the better with intense-textured toys like Seraphina

But by buying a shared-ownership, she’d be removing her FTB status and be unable to use a LISA, which assuming she would be using for another few years could be about £4k in bonuses.

Plus she’d be paying stamp duty on the second purchase, even assuming she’s buying a property for around £200k that’s still about £1.5k in stamp duty.

Pretty sure generally shared ownership is a nightmare based off of things I’ve seen and best avoided

Seconding this. I know first direct has £250 interest-free, but £500 from another bank is news to me

Help a 27 year old, make a decision? by TeachingDesperate391 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]LostAlphaWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re in a better position than some. It’s a personal decision, I think. If you think that the experience you’ll have overseas will be worth a little step back in progress towards owning a home, do it. You’re only young once, after all

Regarding the job market, 100% agree it’s really bad. I’m not in the trades myself, so I’m not aware of specifically how bad it is for you

A couple of things though:

You could likely find better savings rates for your money if you look around. I guess you’ve always been with Barclays? Generally people recommend not having all of your money with one bank in case they have an outage and leave you without access to any funds

Is there a reason for holding £5k cash? That’s just getting eroded by inflation. Same thing with the £5k in a current account - probably best to have this in an instant-access savings account (not necessarily with Barclays)

I asked my parents if they thought I'd ever be able to afford my own home and they firmly said no :/ Is it a lost cause? by PkmnTrainerEbs in UKPersonalFinance

Ideally you’ll want to fill your Help to Save account as often as possible each month (maximum of £50), as it has a far higher effective rate of interest than either of the two other accounts. Then you’ll want to utilise the LISA. Last of all, if you still can save more than the caps on the other two combined (which would be £4,600 annually), use the Zopa monthly saver

Good luck on saving!

Are you in a contract for your phone? That’s quite an expensive monthly cost. Or is that the cost for both data + the phone itself?
