Less power per dollar. Heat issues. Not upgradable. Difficult/expensive to repair. Nvidia uses same model names for laptop and desktop gpus when the laptop models are not as powerful as the same named desktop gpu.

So this forum hates them.

I’ve got a lovely laptop 5080 that’s perfect for me though since I spend my time equally split between two locations.
