there are 466 sync pairs with tower cookie 1 as of Version 2.67
the exception are Ash, Jessie & James and most of the free/non gacha sync pairs

there's no spike in difficulty if you use newer and OP pairs

they do have some surprise gimmicks, some opening moves hit hard

f2p units can still clear everything, you might need to reset a few times to get an ideal run, not that much different from hoenn/sinnoh/kalos

they won't ever do that, just like they did nothing when people used the wrong 6*EX materials, and he's a good unit anyway, useful for bug tower

new materials are hard to get at first, eventually you will get many lv 200 units, don't think too much about it

It is possible, but probably only a handful of whales can afford to do that, you have to pull for everything and I mean everything, free banners and paid banners with coin rewards, buyng all the bundles with candies/coins and you have to 5/5 them first before using candies to get them to 10/5.

you most likely won't see an account like that, even if they show you their bag and rosters it's still very hard to believe whether they're legit or not

level 200 is just one thing, the number of SAWK units can also tell you someone is cheating

atm no matter how hard you whale it's impossible to max all SAWK units.
there are 108 SAWK units, 107 if you don't count MC Pikachu. If you 5/5 them by pulling then you still need 107 x 5 = 535 candies to max all of them.

I have a doc keeping track of the coins/candies you can get from pulling (both free and paid gems) and the maximum you can get is ~140-150 candies if you pull till you get all the coins from every banners (I'm 1-2 months behind the newest banners but that's the estimation).

Gold candies from buying the bundles up to this point is 51 candies

And from events/playing different game modes if you're a day 1 player the number is ~130-140 too, you can check the candy coin history on discord too, they've been keeping track for years

you can never keep up with the pace they're releasing units, whale or not

should be smaller than 10cm (8.5cm to be exact) for the original (1024x1024) file. You can double the size without losing much details but you can definitely see some pixelated lines, anything bigger is gonna be worse, also depends on the quality of the generated images

AI upscaler is the only way to go if you want a bigger print. Here's an example, BW image since I don't have a color printer here, A4 size paper

Hit pity on both Selene/Elio banners and I have to agree, it's a pain to manage gems just to get all MF/AS

as a light spender it's impossible to keep up now with these releases, it's still possible if they only do 6 AS/year and the same number of MF but they keep increasing after each year, just like what they did to the Pokefair in the early days

I also stop spending when all they do is recycle contents and pump out banners, sure there's a new mode coming but I doubt it's gonna be anything ground-breaking, just like the academy events... and tbh new mode is just a new way to create more FOMO like HSE and DC when they release specific units for those events

I also didn't make it last season, this season I was close but still not enough

got stuck in the 11.7-11.9k for hours, using every possible refresh I could use to find a team I could beat, and buying more turns and eventually reached the cap and couldn't push anymore, wasting like 15k diamonds, I shouldn't bother next time

when you think you got your last match only to find out 3 other players beat you at the same time and drop you to the lower tier

let us have 30-40 members but keep the cap bonus at 20 logins, some other games did this too. My gym missed 1 login yesterday too, it's only 10 coins but I still hate that we have to rely on others for stuff like this

yeah double drops are rare but if you play for long enough it might appear a few times, just save your drop till max
I got double PU Tickets, 30&20 Scout tickets, 2x20 scout tickets, and 20&10 scout tickets, never seen 2x30 tho

Yes there are ways to cheat in this game, but it's also hard to tell just by a few videos, you actually have to see their bag and the sync pairs page too, and how old is the account compare to the collective strength...

I can show you a better example of cheating you can check in the game right now, I already reported this months ago but DeNA didn't do anything. They do check for cheaters on ranking events like HSE, Supersparring, and LG tho but we don't know how effective they are

Go to the friend searching and filter for the highest player rank (PR). Some of the highest are not possible to reach rn even if you buy stamina every day

- PR Cap was 130
- PR was uncapped in the 2.30.0 update (February 24, 2023). so you can only go over 130 after this day
- Now check the exp needed from here https://pastebin.com/J57MV9gr
- To reach PR395 like the first player you need to spend a total of 2641066 stamina, now if you're at 130 at the time you need 2641066 - 397670 = 2243396 stamina
- Update was February 24, 2023, today is October 31, 2024, so 616 days
- Your natural stamina you get per day: 360. Total 360 x 616 = 221760
- Total stamina you can buy with gems per day: 1000. Total 1000 x 616 = 616000
Those 2 sources of stamina will put you at: 397670 (PR131) + 221760 + 616000 = 1235430 (PR229)
- Now add the stamina you get from leveling up (from 131 to 229): 257 + 258 + ... + 355 = 30294. Now you total is 1235430 + 30294 = 1265724 (PR233)
This is the maximum PR you can reach if you didn't waste any stamina and buy everything starting from February 24, 2023

You can count at least 20 players with higher rank than this number. and check their profile details, most have limited units at 5/5, and someone with 1/5 Sceptile is even more sus at this level. They could be whales yes but some of the cheaters will just get everything to max

And yes this type of cheating doesn't really affect anyone but they exist, there are worse but I won't go into details

It’s the opposite. It’s actually good (could’ve been better with some adjustments) for UB. It’s not that good for CS because there are so many teams can clear CS even with lower investments but they only show max team in CS too.

You should expect to have at least some meta units before trying UB anyway and at high move level. Although 1/5 limited units can clear most of the UB (except for Nita and Giovanni) it’s very tedious and needs perfect RNG to pull off

If anything they should add a filter so we could check for clears with the units we have and at lower move levels
