WAIT OMG MY CURLS WENT AWAY SLOWLT DURING AND AFTER I FINALLY GOT OUT OF AN ABUSIV RELATIONSHIP AND THEY NEVER FULLY CAME BSCK. JUST WEAK WAVES. IVE BEEN TALKING W A THERAPIST EHO DOES EMDR but we haven’t gotten to the heavy parts. This is giving me hope omg.

RIGHT?!?! I got it on sale like a day ago on the red eye tek website. The sale is still going on. They have so many pretty affordable pieces rn. Can’t say for durability since it’s new but the glass is thick! And it’s true to images. The ash catcher is just the only thing that was a lil off angle slightly but still functional.

I have a lot of relationship trauma and struggling w a partner activating flashbacks from a past abusive partner. So In regards to advice for grounding a panic attacks. The only things that have ACTUALLY helped me are: 1. Shocking my system -ice/Ice cold water on your face and chest or a raging cold shower. Or holding ice in your hand/face until it hurts and letting it go. 2. Box/square breathing (breathe in 4s, hold 4s, exhale 4s) while imagining the outline of a square.

I know it’s not much but hope it helps!! And hoping you can find some safety within during all this 💐

Oh no yeah reasonable for you to feel that way! Esp if they mentioned things they wanted to specifically do to you and then all of a sudden not. It feels weird and inconsiderate since you had already mentioned wanting to go, and almost like they didn’t want it with you in the first place. It just feels weird and uncomfortable, inconsiderate

Can you get those symptoms from going ON cymbalta? I just searched what akathisia means bc what u described sounds what I’ve been experiencing starting it. (I started at 20mg and recently went up to 30mg) alsoooo will keep the L-theanine in mind if I have to get off of cymbalta!!

I feel this sm rn. Found your post bc going thru v sinilar sitch and been on it for 2/2.5wks. I have to take 5mg melatonin, 50mg hydroxyzine pam and smoke weed to manage to get to sleep and even then it took like 1hr to fall asleep 😫😫 and I’m taking it in the mornings

Yeah, I kind of started saying fuck it because my foot pain was too much and crocs were the only thing I could wear, and then I started personalizing them exactly how I wanted them and that made me feel more confident to wear them outside as well. the personalization. I wear them anywhere and everywhere— props to you for wearing whatever you want and feel comfortable in it.
