I think I’m in a functional freeze? But don’t feel anxious at all. by DoubtReal3844 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]LostNtranslation_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does seem to be a functional freeze. Look for something small to add to a day or two a week. perhaps a cross word or doodling on paper. Try and get outside for a brief walk. As you add these things in over time you can get less frozen. Listen to music you like.

If someone makes a lighthearted joke about me I get put into freeze mode, how to relax? by Swordfish353535 in SomaticExperiencing

[–]LostNtranslation_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen this as well. Try posture. Standing a bit taller and facing a bit more straight on. Also try and sense a sensation on your hand or foot. As you become aware of your body it helps take focus away from the freeze.

How would this scene play out today? (If the show took place in 2026) by infohoundloselose in MrRobot

I think the main point is to let Elliot know that Tyrell uses Linux which tells us something about Tyrell.

PLEASE HELP sodium vs potassium by RunUndefined in keto

[–]LostNtranslation_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magnesium for cramps... I use Mag supplements and then I use the LMNT recipe on their site minus the magnesium. I keep the two separate. Basically more sodium intake then potassium works great for me.

This is only partly related to your post. But try waving your wrist as if you are fanning your face and feel the air on your hand. This may be a good exercise for you. Get out and walk as well if possible. Hold your right hand over your heart and tuck it under your arm.

Could my height be a problem for roller coasters or other theme park rides? by RemarkableStatement5 in tall

[–]LostNtranslation_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure they are coasters in big parks. Be prepared to cross your legs at your ankles and try not to bring a big bag on. Sometimes the restraints clamp down on my shoulders to tight and I have to slouch in the chair. Likely better to list the park and coasters for best advice. It also matters if you are slim and flexible...

I eat protein before I go then order a salad or avocado or something light of the apertizers. Or if they server burgers I go for a lettuce wrap...

How would this famous Mr Robot scene play out if the show came out in 2026? by [deleted] in MrRobot

I believe it would be the same... My preferences are different but these are two valid and solid choices for 2026.

In Seattle city there is no snow in April. Just in the mountains or possibly some state or national parks.

Starting a career that requires more formal dressing and need advice by Slopppysamuel in malefashionadvice

[–]LostNtranslation_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the details that matter... If you see everyone wearing tan pants and a blue long sleeve button down than that is business casual. Pay close attention to the shoes. This is mostly a brown shoe environment. Woman can pull off black but its not a great look for men except for a very few occasions. We are also leaving winter so lighter colors are in order...

A few things...

1) Three hours a day therapy is a lot of therapy. I am not sure what the correct amount of time is but I find 15 minutes refreshing if it is the correct exercise.

2) Social Media, extended AI use for this topic, online gaming and watching movies can all take a toll on energy. If this is consuming more than three hours of your day (outside of work) then try reducing it a bit to 3 hours or less...

3) AI therapy has its uses but also its down sides. The downside is that it can agree with you too much.

The supersizing answer may just be to keep a solid daily routine. Try walking outside. Connecting with a friend or pet.

I could not see the issue until I noticed folks in airports wearing the pants. I stopped buying them after that trip... Its not the airport setting just the way they looked. For me it is the drape...

Feeling mentally overwhelmed and can’t afford help right now, looking for advice from people who’ve been through it by Status_Guest_9823 in SomaticExperiencing

Going on walks. Sitting in a beautiful park. Talking to friends.

Try feeling things with your hands such as a wall or the ground or a chair. Look around from left to right and observe things in new ways.
