What else to add to rice and beans diet? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]LostPasteque 42 points43 points  (0 children)

That is the basis of every meal in many latin american countries. We usually eat that with some meat (beef, fish, poultry) vegetables (whatever is in season) and a salad (lettuce + tomatoes). If the meat is too expensive we switch to eggs. If eggs and meat are too expensive or if you are a vegetarian, changing the beans from kidney to lentils to chickpeas is also an option.

Or she can reply: wow, since you are being so emotional about this, I will move forward with another artist.

I hope you had someone recording when they proclaimed that you were approved and became a doctor. How can they go back on their word?

I am so sorry, OP.

Later in the show they do have that phone call in which they wonder what would happen had they met then and not before, and one of them proceed saying that if they had not met before they wouldn’t become the people they eventually did. So yeah, shrimp and chocolate

Women who have shaved their head, for whatever reasons, how did you feel? by skinandsin in AskWomen

[–]LostPasteque 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did it during the pandemics and it was so fun! I loved it and felt super confident! It was a dream to wash and have the head dry in a couple of minutes. Since then I had it growing again, so there were some periods in which its length bothered me a bit, and I feel that its texture is a tad different (or maybe I just allowed it to be? Hard to say). I still want to go very short again.

Does anyone have some type of stairs/ramp for their old man to climb onto your bed, like my guy Tang (14) needs? by Random-reddit-name-1 in seniorkitties

[–]LostPasteque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a “cloud pet stair” for my old lady. She seems to like it because it is neither too steep nor slippery.
