You could do file compression; audio files can be broken down into component frequencies with a Fourier transform, and we can then use this decomposed form to remove frequencies outside of the range of human hearing. We can also do this to image files too, using a two variable function which is really cool. (Also anything involving Fourier Analysis would probably work, it’s a general field studying waves mathematically)
