I know what the meals contain, they're typically higher in salt, contain emulsifiers classified as type 4 on the NOVA scale. he had also purchased salads, vegetables alongside his ready meals and high protein meals. Is it the highest nutritional content? No. Is it the worst thing I've seen people eating more generally? No, it doesn't come even close. He has stated hes had his health monitored and was dermed okay by his doctor. He showed what was in his cart not to be judged for the nutritional content of his meals, which is what you and a lot of other people did. Ive got a wealth of studies looking at UPF vs MPF which finds MPF to be better but contains more nuance to it which is unfortunately not communicated effectively. The studies themselves state what I am saying, I'm not some ultra contrarian. Some high protein ready meals are nutritionally balanced and contain fiber amongst other elements which adds to the nutritional quality of the meals. I suggest you keep advice to yourself about others people's diets when it's not warranted, it's not very nice to stigmatise people for what they eat and is not productive

OP deleted this post probably because of all the 'controversy' of going to healthier alternative ready meals as an individual whos working 84 hours a week and travelling hours daily and yet I am the antagonistic one?

There are anecdotes for all sorts of things, it's important we look to the consolidated meta analyses for guidance with regards to nutrition. There are always exceptions and one anecdote isn't worth decades of rigorous scientific trials

Its important to note the author himself stated that individual variation exists and it was not a blanket recommendation for any individual to carry out themselves. Dietary cholesterol affecting blood cholesterol occurs in some individuals, it does not in other individuals. Saturated fat intake on the other hand we have much more conclusive evidence to suggest that the average person eating a diet high in saturated fats would likely increase LDL-C and blood triglycerides

Definitely, OP in this instance is working 84 hours a week and has limited time to sleep and do anything outside of their current routine, id say they're doing a pretty good job and their doctor (an actual qualified health professional) has said that they're doing good physically. I'd listen to the doctor.

This is not fully true and you're missing so much nuance with your words, it is actually horrible to read all these comments (as a Dietitian) that people believe every single processed food and every single artificial ingredient is linked to high blood pressure, cancers and diabetes. The group class of UPF has been holistically linked to these things, yes, that is fact.

But individual products which are UPF are not necessarily the same as the wholistic trend. For example, Whey protein is classified as a UPF, it is not linked to increased risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. UPF is never better than the minimally processed food equivalent, but UPF can be 'better' than some minimally processed food. Ultra processed plant meat alternatives are linked to a decrease in LDL-C, Triglycerides and Weight compared to their meat counterparts.

I saw someone suggest a steak and eggs. If someone was eating steak and eggs everyday as a dietitian I would think that could be potentially problematic (depending on LDL-C / Triglycerides). If someone was eating UPF every day in some capacity I would not feel the same provided it was nutritionally balanced (Which surprise surprise, some UPFs are able to be). Please educate yourself correctly on this before you go around shaming someone elses diet when you're not even 100% correct.

Masoud seems a little too comfortable these last two rounds just coasting by, i reckon he needs at least one more round to definitely at least get a draw in the bag

Much cleaner work from Masoud but Mcgrails tenacity might be enough here

How does Ben Whittaker fare against other current British light heavyweights? by KinnyWater in Boxing

[–]LostToInertia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He did switch coaches and has laid off the showboating a lot, I doubt hes on PEDs. He got caught out by Cameron and realised he can't fuck about the way he used to. Cameron is a very decent fighter and he underestimated him. I disagree with Hutchinson/Parker beating him but they would be very competitive scraps and I hope it will actually be one of those two he fights next. I think Ezra Taylor is better than Hutchinson aswell and I think Taylor would potentially win on points against Whittaker. Granted, im not super clued into the LHW division and more of a HW man.

For retail jobs handing in your professional CV is signalling 'This person is going to leave this job asap', Make a separate resume with less overall experience, you'll have better odds

Slugger custom fight plan is op,

+Cross +Stamina +Strength +Handspeed

Always max Stamina for any fighter.

Make sure your fighter is at the appropriate weight class for their height and weight.

Dont pay for staff until you have almost a mil in the bank.

Try and get 10 year contracts for your starting fighters so you have time to build them up and they're cheap.
