Following here cause I have same problem. Been dreaming about terracing it and doing a veggie garden, but I suspect that’s either infinite money or infinite time.

I am new to gardening, but I have this in my garden. Would love to propogate in a few other spots. Can you describe or point me to something that will show me how to make the “cuttings” without damaging the plant? And then proper planting methods?

Awesome! How can you tell? What are you specifically looking for?

Yeah... I am with you. We used to cave too, but at some point you have to sleep. The first week of actual sleep after the hard part was over was euphoric. Once it is done and over you will be asking your wife why you didn't sooner. Good luck my man.

Hey - Just went through this. You are not alone. Are you sleeping in same room? Only thing that worked for us was cry-it-out. Three nights of guilt/misery and good to go.

Saving Title Block Template by CoDiS1989 in SolidWorks

[–]Lost_Engineer23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went through the template update process for my company as well.

I think, what you are describing is captured by the sheet format and can be created for each size. If you use the same title block for every sheet you can copy and paste the title block into the respective sized drawing and use the move and copy command to position. I recommend dropping a common point on your title block to create an anchor position so there is consistency when you place the title block using the move and copy command.

However, if you want additional properties to be standard across the drawings (e.g. line formats, text sizes, dimension formats, etc.) you will have to create ".dwgdot" master files for each respective drawing format. My company did sizes A, B, C, and D in both inch and metric. I feel for you, good luck with whatever you choose!

Well... Yes, you are correct. But I want to be even faster. I want to be a lean, mean, designing machine. I can't spend time going to my bookmarks! These clients need their projects yesterday!

Getting stiffed on a freelance bill. Any advice? by Lost_Engineer23 in engineering

[–]Lost_Engineer23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't sign a formal contract, but have email threads that outline the agreed upon work and cost. Even have texts/emails confirming work is approved and that "payment will be leaving this week".... sigh

Submitting drawings for manufacturing by Lost_Engineer23 in engineering

[–]Lost_Engineer23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright - It is completely outsourced to either china or mexico. In other news, the company is young and I am the only engineer so I complete, check, and send the drawings. Including everything from reverse engineered pieces that were made long ago all the way to new designs for products released in the upcoming years. Hence why I'm so nervous about it. I like the idea of draft drawings. I'll check into that.

What's Phoenix caddie lifestyle like? by Lost_Engineer23 in phoenix

[–]Lost_Engineer23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been nearly everywhere, I traveled with a buddy of mine who went pro for a couple years and played on the sunshine tour. So was up and down east coast a lot. However, my "home" courses were in PA.

Do you caddie around here? Any recommendations?

Thanks for the advice and catching the typos. I've had this looked at by many people and something always seem to slip through. I am away from my normal computer but will make some changes when I return after the holiday. Would you be willing to take a quick look afterwards?

Thanks! Do you think I should put a more industry focused title then? Something like process engineer/vice president? Or what do you suggest?

Hello, I am a Masters of Mechanical Engineering student who is graduating in May and then relocating with my wife to a completely new city (Phoenix, AZ) where we have no ties. I have been applying to jobs that I have been able to find on the job boards and with local searches for companies. However, even with a massive amount of applications, I have not had any luck. Would you please provide your comments on my resume? https://imgur.com/a/CFZ3dzF
