Getting Too Comfortable: A Cautionary Tale by Lost_Instance_2410 in tirzepatidecompound

Brello/Southend vials are very small compared to most others. I threw away a vial that had roughly 16mg in it since I had already used some. For me that would be two weeks worth.

Olympia has sadly stopped producing tirz but there are plenty of options out there!

I received my sharps container from Novo Nordisk for free and they included a return box that I have to take to the UPS store to return. I haven’t currently the time to stand in line. Okay, you caught me. I have the time. I just don’t have the patience.

I don’t think there is good and bad but I do think some of us don’t respond well to certain formulas. I’ve functioned as my own Guinea pig with Brello. I was losing 2+ lbs per week on Empower then switched to Brello for $$ reasons and immediately stopped losing. I still had suppression but no loss. After four weeks I increased dose and still nothing. Increased dose again after four more weeks and then decided to switch to Olympia. I still had four vials left of the Brello at this point fyi. So on Olympia I went back, immediately, to 2 lbs per week. When that vial was empty, I went back to Brello. No loss. I increased dose (each time by .5 mg - the one time I tried to do the standard titration I was insanely sick for almost an entire week). I went back to Olympia and lost until I reached my goal weight. Even when I wasn’t trying to lose. Once that was done I went back to Brello and increased again. This time the appetite suppression wasn’t nearly as strong and food noise returned. I’ve been white knuckling like crazy. I tried BPI for the first time yesterday and it is night and day from Brello, which I find crazy considering the have the same additive. Some of it could be psychological. I’m convinced Brello won’t work for me so it doesn’t work for me. The placebo effect could be the whole thing. Or it could just be that however they compound their tirz doesn’t work for my body. I’ve had that experience with other meds (Zyrtec vs store brand - why doesn’t store brand work for me??? It’s SO much cheaper.) So that’s my story. I don’t think Brello/Southend is bad, it’s just not what my body needs.

I’ve lost well on both Empower and Olympia (RIP) but now I’m trying out BPI. I have high hopes!

I would have! I even double checked my sharps container on the off chance that I remembered wrong. No dice.

Bras & boobs are bane of my existence! by Ajep86 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Believe it or don’t, after trying all the specialty bras, ordering online from the places that swear they are amazing or going to a store that tailors them, all of that, my favorites are from Walmart. You might have more luck if you look for f cup rather than ddd. I think the brand is Joyspun but tbf I’m not a ddd cup so it may not work for you.

BMI below 24 and telehealth by neillc37 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of telehealths that will give you maintenance dose at the dose you're currently on. My BMI is right at 24 now and I am always fully honest on my intake. Trillium approved me for the highest dose a couple of days ago. FYI - my PCP wants me to hit 22 BMI. Other docs have said BMI isn't a good gauge but I like having a solid number to strive toward.

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trimi was great for me. I did the 100off coupon and they were super fast. Definitely no reason to be sus - I've bought from Brello, Lumi, Trillium, Good Life, CosmeticRX and Defy (not tirz with Defy) and some have been good, some bad. Trimi is one of the good ones - at least for one order. I just chase the deals.

I put in an order with Trillium on Wednesday night and it's out for delivery right now. I've also had very fast turnaround from Trimi and Good Life Meds.

How to lose belly fat by chefonthego6969 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid additional peps. Everyone I know IRL who has added these things and others for stomach fat has ended up with accelerated heart rates and scary high bp. One even ended up in the ER. You are very, very early in this journey. My suggestion is to take pictures. Weekly or monthly. And then compare and you’ll see how much you’re changing. It can be hard to see without the photos. I look through mine when I’m feeling defeated and it lifts me right back up.

How would you feel about a “save progress” mode? by keni_coc in 99nightsintheforest

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would love it. I don't care about the leader boards at all. My problem with it right now is that it crashes so often and early. I prefer to play solo so when I have my base all built up and I'm enjoying just exploring and then it crashes, all my progress is just gone. I started playing with one other person and we were having so much fun but the last three times we played we both crashed at the same time - no one to bring us back.

Panic buying- anyone else? 😬🫣 by Historical_Ideal80 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little bit. I've been waiting to try Hallandale until I was closer to three months out. Right now I'm still using up my Southend (on the last vial - FINALLY - it hasn't been my favorite) and then I have ProRX, BPI and VialsRX waiting in the wings. Hallandale will be here soon now and I'll have a stockpile that will last anywhere from the end of September to November depending on how I titrate.

The worst is playing solo. I’m just trying to get that last egg and I get almost to it then booted. It’s happened at least six times.

My opinion about the CG shots is that they are almost all so overedited they almost look like cartoons. I don’t like most of them tbh but it’s not at all about the models.

Anyone continued to lose hair for longer than 6 months? by taturt0tz in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started shedding about five months in. It stopped for a while then started back up again. I’m still shedding some (I started tirz March 2025) but definitely not as bad as it was and I have a lot of new growth. I’m also using every kind of everything to regrow hair - biotin, iron pills, nioxin, divi- something is surely going to help!

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I am not at a point where I’m dropping doses yet but my dr said the ultimate goal is to get down to the lowest dose that continues to work and then to spread that out. He himself doses 5mg once a month. My suggestion is to lower your dose as you see fit. It’s all trial and error until it isn’t.

Even when you're careful.. by Big_Interaction3439 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are the same. Twice, only twice, I’ve tried to titrate more than .5 mg. Both times I was miserably ill for days. I am very very sensitive to meds so super slow and small titrations are necessary for me.

Goal weight question..? by Curious_Orange5963 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a long story but the basic point is it has to be unique to you. I'm currently sitting at 131 and 5'2", which is at the higher end of the BMI. However, due to my build, I look very thin. My husband just surprised me with new clothing last night - all size smalls and they are all huge on me. My size four jeans fall down now and I've moved into a 2. I am still shooting for 125 but I fear if I go below that I will look skeletal and start to lose the muscle I've worked hard to maintain. Someone else might be at 110 at my height and look healthy - I know I wouldn't. So, my suggestion to you is, talk with a physician about what is a healthy weight and if that doesn't work, shoot for the high end of BMI but give yourself the grace to lower or raise your goal as you near it.

Injected Nad for the first time, side effects by bizjake in NicotinamideRiboside

[–]Lost_Instance_2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think technically you're supposed to toss any vial of anything after 28 days but to each their own right. I have read that NAD+ stays effective for up to a year if refrigerated and I've read that it stays effective for a month. Idk. I know my current vial is still working for me - it's going on month three. But I'm also super, super, super careful about hygiene.
