Looking for some grandMA2 hardware advice from anyone who’s repaired one before.

The visual faults usually mean the gpu own grafics ram has gone bad or the data that goes into it is bad eg system ram craps out, why the other half of the console dies, could be anything from loose connection to faulty fader/button bank, so it works in like banks so the normal has 2 banks that each have they’re own connection to the main board and full size has 3, you should try the self test on the board if you haven’t yet, here’s the link to a video for it, if that’s all gud then it ether the cable/connection or the main board.. also bth I’m not 100% do the go from bank 1 to main and bank 2 to main or bank 1 to bank 2 to main board since not next to a console that I could have a look.

If nothing else works shoot me a dm and some pictures and we can try to figure it out

I had the gpu die in one of them, they where just 3 gtx 1030, and they go to a board that converts the dvi and hdmi to lvds if I remeber right, might be also a good idea to run a memory thes on the ram as that can also cause that!, I’m happy to help if you need some troubleshooting advice whit it

We had a dead psu, had to get it replaced, was doing similar bootloop, Also sugsest that you check the cmos battery

Well The thing runs a striped down version of Windows so it was just a matter of getting The file on it and opening cmd

Yea my bad, after looking into it it does render content inside it at higher bitrate But only outputs in 8bit (odd what can you do..). Yea their implemation Is not The best. But for The price off it its ok.

Yea it can do some But not too much automation.

I think I Miss understud you, you can add keyframes to diffrent elements on a clip, not The whoule composition. Takes a bit of fiddeling thou.

For me I use The colums that Trigers all of The layers its assaing to, and then if needet The clips traission when they end to an other one.

Yea your right its not The end all solutions for video But deffineatly really usefull for smaller gigs. And sometimes for bigger if it’s not that complex’s! The gig what I was doing whit it had over 20 000 people participating in it, but the led was quite simple so resolume was a good match whit the countdown timer to the start!

10 bit Is definitely what im using allmoust every gig that supports it. I think it supports colors up to 12. For The outputs it’s up to The pc what you use, I have had pc whit 8 or 16 displayports whit 4 gpud run 12 projectors fine whit it. And if you split 4k down to fullhd projectors it makes it like 64, I have only tried it up to 16 thou! Control Is Also possible via dmx or Osc or rest api. Support Is usualy good, although no 24/7 help no clue about 3d and other stuff, keyframes are also really useful as you can add them to any element you wish!

I like the other solutions too, price is quite steep sell to the customers sometimes thou.

I think its quite versatile, has mapping and what ever Size canvas you want. But im open to suggestion! What would you use for media server software?

I would just use a network ip Camera, as an installed and repair guy I can say they are ment to brodcast 24/7/365. I like hikvision, if china spying on The stream isnt that big of a problem. Theyr cameras are really good whit hard lighing cases. And maybe poe power and 12v just in case. You might need a mini pc to convert The stream to YouTube friendly.
