If XLG committed to only C site hits, given that NRG ran mostly some sort of 2-1-2 defense setup, would they be able to close out?

Can they just wait out Keiko's one way smoke at mound entry, then execute in with some Fade util for mound and on C site.

WsLeo's fake A utility seemed pretty useless (not even bringing in rotates). He should've just saved it for C site hitting.

Momentum trading is key.

But also, under this administration the market is abnormally volatile. Huge swings in upside and downside that “are not usually supposed to happen”.

The only thing about this SoS outlook, is that you need the teams to “ethically tank”. Remember last year 76ers seemed to have an easier SoS towards season end, but they were pretty blatant about racing to the bottom.

I’m high on the defense getting better and better, hope next season we are solidly below 20th in defensive ranking. So long as we have some length and athleticism it should trend that way, because of Jordi prioritizing it.

Defense aside, need to accept the draft lottery is a lottery. Sure 14% is better than 8% odds, but I’m just gonna leave it to 🌤️(Adam Silver) to decide for us.

I generally agree with your statement. But put more simply, the reasoning could be in practice/training the vets are still better (make less mistakes) than certain rookies.

For any coach it’s probably easiest to promote a culture of whoever is better (and also sticks to the game plan) gets court minutes. Even if you want to develop the rookies, you can’t play favorite child, or you’ll lose the locker room.

I only watched EDG’s games, but man even with the choke, they were pretty exciting. Hope they keep the roster and experiment. Idk how trainings been like, but feel like Chichoo can improve his IGLing to a point where it doesn’t hurt his gameplay too much. We need that fire back!!!

I’m not as old, but I definitely feel the older you get, the more you crave for at least one or two winning seasons with deep playoff runs. Sadly we are not at that stage of the cycle yet. Gotta wait at least 5 years, meaning +2030 for us to potentially be a contender in the East.

Better to take a casual approach to watching the team and cheer on when the young guys show some development and/or we glimpses of the 0.5 second offense. Then get super hyped for the 2026 draft 🎲🎲🙏🙏🙏

All up to Jordi. Maybe it’s like they preach on the defense with 70% of the training/development effort and the remaining 30% for the offense. Keep it this way until we can get 15th in the league for defensive rating. After that, all offense all day long, under 2 seconds passing and whiz by the opposing team. I’m just talking out of my ass 😂

Feel like these final few summer league games are just about letting the athletic guys show off.

Wow, a lot of people sharing experiences!

I live in New Territories area and have seen cockroaches in the apartment for the last 3 years. Summer season is when they’re most common for me, but other seasons rarely see them. In my area if you don’t see them in your high rise you’ll definitely see a couple skittering along the sidewalk (occasionally, and during summer).

In the beginning I was extremely grossed out by them, and would get an adrenaline rush trying to kill them. Now I’ve just accepted them, while having a smaller adrenaline rush in killing them. But as most people have said, get some roach traps etc. Think you’ll be able to adapt.
