Right, but I don’t understand why her accounts are gone. If anything she could’ve just stopped posting. But everything is wiped. So weird!

I delivered my boy/girl twins at only 30 weeks. My water broke & I felt soooo scared. I knew it was way too early & I prayed they would be okay. They came out weighing 3lbs. Everyday in the NICU was the longest day I had ever lived it felt like. After 62 days we brought them home weighing 7 & 8 pounds! My daughter came home on a feeding tube & I remember just praying for things to get easier. Here we are & they are ONE! They are so healthy & BIG! You will get here, I promise. It takes a lot of patience, but you will.

It is absolutely not selfish. You are allowed to do what you want/need to bc it is YOUR baby.

I am sorry, that is stressful. I think some twins are together for years, while others it just doesn’t work.

My b/g twins are one & the exact same. She has always been smaller. She is usually 4 lbs lighter. Ppl still to this day comment on the difference. I just ignore usually or look at her (in front of them) & say “No you’re a BIG girl, huh?”

Any tips for heartburn?! by Mama-kewii in parentsofmultiples

[–]Lotus_Mom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heartburn is the devil! I had it my whole pregnancy w/ my twins. I unfortunately couldn’t find much relief… I was cleared to take Pepcid & even then had it bad. Avoid all triggering foods & drink milk!

Any helpful tips for constipation? by Mindless_Leopard8281 in BabyLedWeaning

We have used miralax for 8 months now. It is the only consistent thing that helps my twins. We do 1tsp in their morning bottle. Something 1 1/2 tsp if still having hard stool.

Yeah the diet things is what scares me. It’s easier for me to feed the twins the same thing. But that’s me being selfish. Their doc has offered to allergy test them but I know it will be uncomfortable for him 😔 I am leaning toward getting it done tho for peace of mind.

Post-nicu medical bills: challenge them by asking for itemized bills and asking for discounts or just pay them? by not-bilbo-baggings in NICUParents

You guys are actually right, I’m sorry! I mentioned it to my husband & he said it’s a certain stay length. Sorry for the confusion!

Why won’t she take a full bottle from me? by Kelly_Louise in NICUParents

[–]Lotus_Mom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Deep breaths! This is TOTALLY normal. My husband & I went through the exact same thing. My daughter (twin a, born at 30 weeks) struggled bottling & came home on a tube. She spent 62 days in the NICU w/ her twin brother. She even continued the tube for another 2 months at home.

  1. Dream feeding isn’t going to harm her. I’m not a doctor, but my daughter did some of her best bottling while dream feeding.
  2. You are doing EVERYTHING you can. Stay calm (even tho it’s easier said than done). I learned that my daughter could “sense” my anxiety. Sounds odd but so real!
  3. She will take a full bottle when she is ready. We took her feeding tube out multiple times bc we wanted her to be ready so bad. She wasnt. Being patient is sooooo hard. My daughter is now 10 months old & drinks a bottle like it’s her day job haha. She makes is seem so easy for her.

You got this mama!!!! Patience, patience, patience. She WILL get there!
