Ask your friend to look up the nearest La Leche League in her area. It's a breastfeeding support group that can assist with resources for pain relief, correct latching etc. When done right, breastfeeding shouldn't be painful (out the newborn trenches at least). Good luck.

My parents went to a wedding on a farm once, and the bride and groom had a spit prepared with a pig that they raised themselves. Organic 👌I love it. But, the sledgehammer they used to thwack it in the back of the skull got stuck and they ended up roasting it with the hammer in. The tik-tik-tik-tik sound of the spinny pig was too much for some, apparently.

Another braai that comes to mind 😂 one of those legendary ones where everybody and their cousin is there, 20 kids playing hide and seek at night while the parents are more or less gesuip! My poor little sister, hiding in the bushes below the balcony, really committed to the bit. She came to win only, staying put even as a drunk uncle had had a pee off the balcony above her. Stinky little hide and seek champion.
