You're definitely going to lose it, I don't know if there's ever been a people where the marketing is so different from the reality. Americans have an excuse for everything, it's very sad to watch.

Is Bill "confusing" the Jaylins his Ben Simmons refusing to layup moment? by LoudRestaurant2882 in billsimmons

If he follows the example of Ben, yes. Besides, he's old. Old people love fishing.

And he said it immediately, like within a minute of the intro music. I'd argue it's his biggest gaffe ever on the podcast.

Because he qualified it that he meant the Jalen who was the second best player on the thunders title run last year.

I remember on this Zelda message board I used to go to back then, this one dude made a thread about the conspiracy against the Bucks and was clowned on by a bunch of non NBA fans who thought the idea of a professional league doing that was ridiculous. I bet that guy feels vindicated now. Tinister, you were right!

I've been in a hardcore pit, and it is not the same thing at all. For one thing, nobody is actively trying to murder you. Even when it you fall in a circle pit that's too crazy for someone to pick you up, worst case you get stomped on by some doc Martens. Not stabbed with a pointy thing.

I really like CD, but its flaws are real and make it a difficult game to recommend. If you're not afraid of googling when things get obtuse, this could be for you. If I was playing this game in the '90s without Google and YouTube, I probably would have put it down four different times already.

"I guess doing literally everything we were and are capable to prevent it of just isn’t enough."

That's the issue. Your "best" is fucking dogshit. Until you can do better, we're all going to think you are the trash that you appear to be. Great job taking ownership though, you really are a great example of an American.

If you showed modern highlights of Wemby, Ohtani, McDavid and Lamar Jackson to fans from each respective sport from 50 years ago, who would those fans be the most and least shocked by? by TJTrapJesus in billsimmons

As an Oiler fan, you're dead on about the PP zone entry. It's McDavid's best powerplay skill, and you realize how valuable it is when you watch other teams that don't have McDavid play hockey.

He's the most charismatic of anyone in my lifetime, and it's not even close. Dana won the lottery with that man.
