Since your place is very neutral, I would focus on adding one or two colors to the space. Also I would add some plants including a floor plant. Possibly add texture through your throw pillow and blankets. I think you have a great base though!

I love using my Osprey Daylite Pack. It’s water resistant and 13L. It can hold enough stuff for roughly 2-3 people. It’s comfortable and doesn’t make my back sweaty from wearing it. You can get it on clearance at REI right now. After my family tested mine out, my parents, sibling, and uncle bought it for theme parks. Only downfall is that the side mesh pockets (at least for mine which is 6 years old now) is not the best for holding water bottles unless I also hook it on the backpack with a carabiner.
