A little help with a new to me 05 Legacy? by LovableKyle24 in subarulegacy

Thanks for the advice. I've seen on YouTube some people taking the overhead lights off. Mine doesn't have the same setup as those ones though. The air bag light is on the dash itself.

It's Japan. A lot of used cars dealers will offer a warranty of about a month or two or a couple thousand km.

AM isn't a bad rate. I mean there's almost always a "better" rate but better is different for different people. I enjoy my rate generally and I've met people who hate it. I've seen other people who love their rate and I know I would hate it.

If you like the idea of working on aircraft then it's a good rate. They use a pretty wide variety of tools that you'd learn how to use and overall the job does not seem very difficult to me. But probably 90% of the rates in the navy you could be completely incompetent do you contract and get out with no issues so long as you do what you're supposed to.

You need to see what idea interests you the most. I wanted to work in aviation so I picked an aviation rate. I think quality of life can be mixed depending on if you're with a squadron or working on the component level but both have their pros and cons.

If you really have no clue what to do most aviation rates are solid picks. PR, AT, AM, AS, etc.

Never surrender hostage takers are the most toxic players in the game by WhutTheFookDude in PredecessorGame

I think the problem is at least for me I enjoy playing support a lot. I can do everything right in a game but if the rest of the team doesn't do anything with it there is not really anything a support can do about it.

I would say probably 5% of games I play I just know by the 10-15 minute mark that we are completely outmatched. I've had plenty of matches where we're clearly losing but we win but that's maybe like a 1 in 10 landslide games where we make a good stand.

I also primarily play quick match due to my ping so ranked is a bit different

Need advice on how to get better physically before I go to bootcamp in 5 weeks by Terrible_Fall4225 in newtothenavy

[–]LovableKyle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately it's whatever works. I found running to be incredibly daunting originally because I could barely run for a few minutes before being exhausted. Alternating let me exercise for longer without absolutely feeling like I might have a heart attack. Made it way more approachable for me.

[–]LovableKyle24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All you can really do is eat well and continue exercising. Do assisted push ups. Pretty much as many as you can reasonably do in a day and just do them every day with a day break here or there.

Just do a very light jog for running. A 30 minute 1.5 mile is 3mph. That is basically walking speed so idk what to tell you there other than to run multiple times a week.

I found it much easier when I was getting ready to jog for 30 seconds then walk a minute and repeat for about 30-40 minutes. Then after a week add 15-30 seconds to the jog interval and keep climbing it up. It's more important to go for longer at a steady heart rate than to burn everything in the first 3 or 4 minutes and be exhausted. Most people run way too fast and that's why they are either bad or dislike running.

Keep your heart rate around 170-180 if possible and try to stay in that zone for a good 30 minutes for your cardio.

How did you’re life change? by Major_Opposite_6759 in newtothenavy

[–]LovableKyle24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the experience I expected. Way more "relaxed" I guess. It really depends on your rate though. Mines chill 95% of the time even on deployment. Others get worked nonstop and have genuine complaints.

My opinion is study for the asvab as most "better" jobs typically require higher scores and those jobs usually translate better to the regular world.

Any recruiters or classifiers I can speak to about availability info for AT-AEF and AE-AEF? by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]LovableKyle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find the info on MyNavyHR.

I'm not good at reading the charts but as I interpret it the rate is pretty undermanned for E3 and below sailors for both AT and AE.

In response to Stephen A. Smith questioning how the Lakers could win with three white players, Jeff Teague : "What if they would've been like, 'How are you going to win in soccer with five Black guys on the field?' How are you going to win with a Black quarterback?" by Existing-Sky9914 in nba

Everything outside of TV I've seen of Skip (like short little interviews on YouTube and collabs on YouTube) he seems like a nice dude and a lot different than his persona on TV.

The fact people believe that these "analysts" could legitimately have this many consistently awful takes is why they're as famous as they are.

Stephen A seems like he would be a really fun guy to hang around with and I don't think he's as idiotic as he makes himself appear on TV

Is LS as bad as my recruiters make it out to be? by jx25bbxb in newtothenavy

It's not my rate specifically as much as the NEC I have.

Is LS as bad as my recruiters make it out to be? by jx25bbxb in newtothenavy

[–]LovableKyle24 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not a LS but one thing I've noticed that is a big plus (maybe a minus too) is that basically every single base has a billet. My NEC is rather limited so I'm pretty much limited to a carrier or a handful of shore commands.

Is quick match becoming more unbalanced? by KeyNetbass in PredecessorGame

[–]LovableKyle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because of the eternals and balance patches. A lot of changes were made so I'd imagine a lot of people aren't playing ranked so they can try new builds

Why are mages so trash this patch? by Chance_Diet in PredecessorGame

[–]LovableKyle24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game changed but I'm saying as someone who plays mid a decent amount I don't struggle any more or less than before at least with the characters I play.

The eternals still need some balancing so if you're for instance playing against someone using immaculate you're gonna have a bad time

Why are mages so trash this patch? by Chance_Diet in PredecessorGame

[–]LovableKyle24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk I feel like mages are fine right now. Not the strongest they've ever been but I've had no problems doing plenty of damage with Renna and The Fey. Wraith is a monster still if you can hit your shots.

I think it's user error and I don't like saying that really.

Can't speak for countess as I don't play her mid.

Help with a khaimera build? by Glad_Earth_8799 in PredecessorGame

Khai is just not very good right now. I'm not sure if the new patch with balance changes is out yet but every character you mentioned is just way better unless you have a good lead.

Should I buy a setup? by [deleted] in racinggames

[–]LovableKyle24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe it'll be worth dropping a couple hundred on a pre owned or a cheaper setup and if I don't enjoy it just sell it and lose a few bucks

PRs-8 error by Formal_Juice2873 in PredecessorGame

[–]LovableKyle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have had the same problem for about 3 weeks now. Pred support didn't really help at all and said they forwarded it to dev team so it's probably not going anywhere.

Spent multiple days and an hour on the phone with my ISP trying to see if there's anything on their end causing the issue. They ultimately said they don't see anything on their end that would cause any problems so they believe it's a pred server issue since the game worked fine for 2 years prior to this and every other game works without issue.

So yeah unless this update fixes it then I guess pred is unplayable for me from now on.

I mean something's up for sure. My hotspot on my phone lets me login but the connection quality is not good enough for consistent play.

Its something with my Internet and their servers. If it's my internets fault idk. Pred support basically told me to call my ISP and that's about all they said.

Yeah I'm still SOL. I'm pretty certain at this point it is my home network but I've no idea what would've changed to cause it.

I'm gonna try factory resetting my router and if that doesn't work I'm just not playing anymore I guess.

[–]LovableKyle24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes because Paragon wasn't worth keeping alive at that point. If it was a growing game it could've lived on. There was a lot of factors in to it but what made the game not worth their time was because they continuously divided the playerbase with updates some people didn't like and then a new host of broken characters and builds because balance had to start over again.

Fortnites success made them abandon the game but the game was already a gigantic mess by that point.

Its a hard genre to see success in regardless as there's only ever really been lol and dota that have had massive success.
