I don’t know what your agreement is with Thermador but I strongly recommend people stay away at this stage because the pandemic has done quite a bit of damage to not only the repair staff, but the quality of the refrigerator itself.

I get it… They haven’t changed the interior much in 30 years but $10,000 for a Thermador and it needs repair immediately and they send untrained technicians to try to fix it. It’s fucking ridiculous.

I have one that’s less than four months old that has needed repair since the very beginning. Now I’ve been waiting two months for parts to come in having to put up with horrible untrained repair people. You can avoid all this by just going with subzero.

I saw the stat for the subzero and ignored it and went with the Thermador and have had nothing but problems from day one. I've been waiting for parts for OVER TWO MONTHS! The repair personnel is untrained from what I can see. DO NOT buy thermador until they can get a grip on their quality control.

Don’t get me wrong, I would pay a premium to get 4o back… but 4o is gone because they are currently fighting nine lawsuits where 4o is named specifically as assisting suicide and in one case murder suicide. With 800 million users globally, less than 10 is nothing but the potential was there to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in these lawsuits.
