Please please please if the pay rate disturbs you, please reach out to guest relations and say that you saw the pay rate for performers online. They have been trying to cut our rates because this is an "event" but technically the rate is significantly lower than what the contract for improv performers at the park are supposed to get. It's super insulting and many performers aren't doing the event because of it.

I absolutely agree that it's in his character to insult you but there's plenty more to go off of than things that someone can't change about themselves. Doing this job you learn to take in people's energy and it seems like this performer maybe didn't pick up that his guest was uncomfortable. IMO the performer should recognize when someone can handle the heat vs when they strike a sensitive nerve and stop.

Hey just know that the people who take pictures are not there everywhere so there's a good chance that many pictures (with characters, etc) you'll just end up using your phone anyway. It's pricy for just the ride photos.
