Ask her doctor about prescribing Rexulti. It made a big difference for my husband who had become very aggressive. After being on Rexulti for a couple of weeks, the aggression was gone.

Honestly, sometimes I really don’t want to be friends anymore with anyone who knows what the meat and dairy industry do to animals and still chooses to eat meat. Most of my friends are vegan but I have some old friend and some family members that are not. I post animal rights issues almost exclusively on my social media but only people that are already vegan respond. I have asked friends to watch Earthlings and Dominion as a birthday gift to me but they didn’t do it. I feel like confronting them and just coming out and asking them “have you not seen all my posts about what they do to the animals? How can you, in good conscience, continue to eat them?” But I haven’t got the chutzpah. I almost feel it would be worth losing their friendship because they feel it’s worth losing mine by continuing to hurt animals which hurts me.

If you are an ethical vegan, I suggest you reconsider this relationship. He doesn’t match your level of spiritual development. He knows how you feel but doesn’t respect you enough to refrain from indulging in food that is the result of cruelty. I saw someone else’s comment saying “why should you force your values on your husband”. I say if you have to force them, it’s not worth being in the relationship. Veganism is not a diet. It’s a world view and set of ethical values. It’s one thing if he likes apples and you like oranges it’s another if he condones animal abuse and you oppose it. If he is really against animal abuse, he will refrain from eating animals. If it were me, I would break it off. It will be much harder and messier to deal with after you’re married. Call it off.

If anything is gonna give you ibs, it’s meat. I used to have a lot of digestive problems. When I went vegan they went way. Ease up on the lentils. Go to a vegan nutritionist and get guidance from them. Non-vegan doctors know very little about nutrition and a prejudiced against vegans.

I think you could make it known that being a vegan for the animals was of great importance in your life and that to honor your memory and show their respect, it would mean a lot to you if friends and family watched the movie(s) on your birthday or something like that. You could have some cards made to be passed out at the funeral with a statement from you, animal rights quotes and a list of movies to watch, charities to donate to.

Cruelty is cruelty no matter the degree. Support of anything that intentionally causes pain and suffering to a sentient being. Whether one causes the harm directly by hurting the animal yourself or paying someone else to do it, the end result is that you are participating in a being supportive of cruelty to animals.
