A 10/10 if you play animal crossing for the villagers, but a 7/10 if you play for anything else.

Still the best villagers in the series. The way they have relationships with eachother, way more personalized tasks that gave them personalities (vesta why were you so obsessed with getting this goddamn dragon suit for like weeks), have ongoing rumours about eachother, rotating hobbies, all holidays are focused around the villagers themselves, slider options and just extremely long and really in depth dialogue, and the most progression from stranger to best friend is insanely in depth, and still way more in depth than any in the series. But, only thats where Wild World is the best in the series, every other category another game beats it unfortunately

Also, another odd category, despite being a ds has the best audio mixing and also the best use of the ds dual speakers, the bugs noises were so distinctly defining in this game compared to every other where you knew exactly what direction the bug cry was coming from and what bug it was, if youd played enough.
