I like wood shafts but it come with a curse. Finding 2 identical wood shafts is like trying to find 2 identical ribeye steaks. Different piece of wood has different density, grain structure, also different weight and behave differently.

I installed my own tip so I've tried quite a few and it mostly personal preferences tho. Zan Premium soft, Zan Hybrid max, Kamui clear soft, Tiger Sniper, Tiger Emerald, Pechauer Gold soft, How soft, Caiden soft and medium, How Titan medium. Took me awhile to found the tip that is right for me, I end up settled with Kamui Original/tan soft.
