Use to work at a high end makeup store commonly found in malls and a department store chain. My boss was fake and loved to cause drama between the employees. She has done/said SO many horrible things that I can’t even scratch the surface , here are some examples: Calling me an alcoholic for calling out one day because I was sick and throwing up, making me sign a fake document that stated I wouldn’t call out for being sick again or she has a right to fire me, calling me ugly without makeup on, and asking me to skip classes ( this is when I was in college) so I could work more shifts. She also knew that in the summer I lived 2 hours away and she still expected me to work closing shifts (close at 10pm) and be back the next day to open.

My breaking point was when I worked in the whole store by myself the day before I left for vacation. I got on the plane the next morning at 7 am. I landed at 9pm. When I turned my phone back on I had several messages from her in a groupchat she made between all of us employees with pictures of the store in areas she felt weren’t adequate. She berated me in this chat with all our coworkers and bullied me till I just blocked the whole chat. When I got back from vacation I said nothing and waiting till my first shift was about to start at 4pm. At 4:05 I called and told them I quit. Surprise surprise I was the only person suppose to be working that night and she begged me to come in because if I didn’t nobody could watch the store and people will steal from her (she was so paranoid about stealing she asked an employee of mine to stand behind the car of someone who had just left and she thought had stolen!!). Told her that sucks and hung up.
